Katrina Hoofinmouth is on Stephy’s show going on and on about the Libby commutation. She suffers from BDS big time. The other two panel members (Lowrey and someone else) both agree that the commutation was correct, and if I heard correctly (I tuned in late) think that Fitzy nevre should have brought the case to begin with. Its just the criminalization of politics.

No surprise that Stephy agrees with Katrina and is trying to make the distinction between what Clinton did (which in his mind was fine wrt pardons) and what Bush did for Libby (which Stephy says is bad, bad, bad).

Katrina thinks that Conyers hearings are important regarding the pardon process; Lowrey talks to Katrina: “with all due respect” which translates to: “honey you are so full of it”! HA

And he finally brings up Armitage is the leaker; and a great discussion about NO UNDERLYING CRIME.

Conyers on ABC saying that the reason he President commuted Libby's sentence was to keep him quiet from implementing other WH Officials

He wants the President to waive executive privilege and turn over documents

Stefph says the WP is reporting the WH won't hand over the documents ..

Stephi asks Conyners if he will hold the WH in contempt of congress .. Conyers doesn't want to answer that question

Now Conyers brings up the 8 US Attorney's that were fired

Now he mentions the impeachment of Cheney and Bush ..

Stephi says that he is surprised that Conyers would bring that up and asks if impeachment is still on the table

Conyers dodges that question by saying that he didn't say he would proceed with impeachment hearing .. he just mentioned that a majority of the people want it

Off topic but that picture bumping the fund raising effort that says ‘somewhere another liberal couple....’ is a little dated.

You can find that same liberal couple easily by checking Hillary’s itinerary. In fact, ANOTHER liberal couple would be a welcome relief.

Conyers dodges that question by saying that he didn't say he would proceed with impeachment hearing .. he just mentioned that a majority of the people want it

Is he talking about this bogus poll?

Of those polled, 38% were Democrats, 33% were Independents, and, bringing in the rear, Republicans were at a mere 29%.

Our last election was 2005 so if the government serves their complete term it would be 2010. The PM though can call a general election any time between now and then. Often they go to the country if they feel there is either public opinion they should of if they feel they could increase their majority if they are currently very popular they will also do that.

The other way an election can be forced to be held earlier is if the government looses a vote of no confidence in Parliament tabled by an MP though with a majority of 60 plus unlikely as many of their own side would have to vote against their own government plus all of the opposition parties would have to as well.

Traditionally though a government usually calls an election a year early having served 4 years.

Stephi lets Gravel ramble about how we should pull out of Iraq and asks if the President should be indict on criminal charges .. Gravel says no ... that congress should over rid the Presidets veto

Stephi mentions how Gravel says anyone who voted for the war should be knocked out of the race .. says that knocks out Biden, Clinton, Dodd

Another reporter, Debra Saunders San Fran chronicle

Debra Saunders is the token Conservative columnist on the San Fran Chronicle's editorial page. I do belive she is rated as a "Columnist" not as a "Journalist". Pretty hard to tell the difference between the two these days IMHO.
