Why Britain and not the U.S.?

LONDON — From the moment that emergency workers spotted the bomb-laden car a week ago in London's crowded West End, it was clear that for the fourth straight year — and third straight summer — this city was being readied for a major terrorist attack.
Yet England isn't the Great Satan to al-Qaida extremists. Terrorism experts all agree that for al-Qaida operatives and sympathizers, the preferred villain is the United States.
So why do attacks keep happening here? And why, since the horror of Sept. 11, has America avoided another assault?

And there have been freelance attacks since 9 11 too. Maybe not well organized but they have resulted in some deaths.

Meanwhile we passively import baboons of every stripe [pun intended] through our underprotected borders. “Clueless” fits that, too.
As the Madrid attacks were to terrorize the people into voting for politicians without the will, backbone, or intelligence to realize the WOT is necessary, so the Islamocowards attacked Britain right after the changing of the guard to send a message to Brown that he’d better break Britain’s alliance with the US and stop fighting the spread of Islam and its taking over of Britain.
Brown grabbed his ankles for them, too, by saying we mustn’t call them terrorists and must not, essentially, use Muslim and terrorist in the same sentence.
