No, I have not seen "Sicko."
Nor do I intend to see Michael Moore's latest agitprop.
Why would anyone seek health advice from this man?
Would you go to Dr. Kevorkian to treat your depression? I don't think so.
Would you see Jabba the Hut for diet tips? I don't think so.
Would you ask Paris Hilton to explain the Pythagorean Theorem? I don't think so.
So, explain to me, why is America turning to Michael Moore for health advice?
Not only is he not the picture of health, he is also a congenital liar. Lying about America is what he does for a living. Film is his chosen medium, but deception is his goal.
America has made him wealthy, but clearly not healthy and wise.
In my book "Taking America Back," I raised some eyebrows by explaining that the American people were increasingly becoming immoral, fat, lazy and stupid.
I even postulated there might be a government conspiracy to promote this trend.
All one really needs to do is watch the news on a daily basis to see countless illustrations of my "immoral, fat, lazy and stupid" thesis.
Could this, in part, explain the immense popularity of Michael Moore's films? After all, I can think of no one who better personifies the "immoral, fat, lazy and stupid" trend.
What this socialist bottom-feeder produces are, pardon the expression, crap-umentaries that could only be swallowed enthusiastically, judging from the early box-office results by a gullible American public conditioned to be immoral, fat, lazy and stupid.
Does America's health care system have problems? Yes it does. Many, if not most, of those problems are caused by too much meddling by government, too little accountability to consumers. Dr. Michael "Sicko" Moore's prescription? Let government make more decisions regarding America's health care needs.
Take that medicine for what it's worth. But before you swallow it, have one more long look at that picture and decide for yourself whether this man appears to be an expert on health.
“Would you go to Dr. Kevorkian to treat your depression? I don’t think so.
Would you see Jabba the Hut for diet tips? I don’t think so. “
ROTFLOL!!
Taking health advice from Michael Moore would be about as sound & as hypocritical as taking morality or chastity advice from Hugh Hefner.
He’s not an expert on “health.”
He’s an expert on “health care.” There’s a huge difference. In the health he’s in, he would be the health care expert — because I’m sure they’ve tried everything on him — to no success, while charging whatever health plan he has, jackpot dollars.
The “problem” with people like him is that he thinks it’s the doctors’ job to make him well — and not his own responsibility, and that’s why he’s in the horrible condition he’s in.
Many others living in the same country he does, with the same medical access, are in fine condition and health. One has to be doing something grossly wrong to undermine the best medical technology of the present time.
That’s why these liberals love having a convenient excuse for evading their own personal responsibilities for their terrible conditions and dispositions.
Because of his unhealthy and irrational hatred of George Bush, for starters.
