I emphasized the maserati portion of Rush's comments...can ANYONE verify this from another source?!
I think the hypocrisy is HUGE if that is the case...my source for local news even emphasized the HYBRID angle of the story....I'd like to know if the GAS GUZZLING part is true, too.

I don't care what a person drives, if they are doing 100 mph they are not being green. I am sure that the prius doesn't get very good miliage at 100 mph. The Gores have already been proven to be hypocrits but the media and climate idiots ignore the facts.

Of course it’s true...you can tell in the video the model is a quattroporte and it is the latest version so it’s a 2005 model or newer. The epa fuel economy website gives the 2007 model these mileage figures for the quattroporte. City 11 Hwy 16 Combined 13...and it seems to qualify for the gas guzzler tax too!!! :)

His sister picked him up in a Maserati. A V8 400-horsepower Maserati took Algore III home. She accelerated pretty briskly using many of those 400 horses when pulling away from the reporters.

My understanding is the Prius or any other hybrid gets lousy gas mileage ... running on pure gas alone. It’s the combination of the fuel/electric that gives it its economy ....
