Braggerts be damned ...

When the time comes, 999 out of 1000 people will take the Mark. So, this means basically you will too, despite all of your bravado talk. Even John told Jesus he would stick with him and never abandon him on the very night that he did actually abandon him. And this after seeing him work miracles, and hearing his teaching first hand, and witnessing the transformation. What chance stand you?

And Peter did not have the Holy Spirit indwelling him at the time.

Christians now do.

At the end, those not saved will take the mark only because they will lack discernment and will be deceived. At this point in time someone will come along who will literally save us from extinction. By this time humanity will be on it’s last legs and will be begging for a saviour. Following him will seem like the right choice, but it won’t be. He will demand a very heavy price.
