The oldest ever recovered DNA samples have been collected from under more than a mile of Greenland ice, and their analysis suggests the island was much warmer during the last Ice Age than previously thought. The DNA is proof that sometime between 450,000 and 800,000 years ago, much of Greenland was especially green and covered in a boreal forest that was home to alder, spruce and pine trees, as well as insects such as butterflies and beetles.

Would Mr. Algore please pick up the white courtesy phone for a message ??

Sharp said. Theres also dwarf birch probably, and willows almost are certain. But not pine or spruce, which we have in the DNA here.Hmmmm, does this mean that man's common ancestor may have been a tree of some sort?
You know, one of those endless random mutations over a long, long time and those tree roots became fins, then feet...etc....it could happen!

Just this morning on the Classroom portion of The History Channel, the narrator said that it has always been ice-covered and that it was called Greenland just to entice people from Iceland to relocate there, honest; I heard him.

That’s why the flash-frozen wooly mammoth discovered by the Russians under the Arctic ice several years ago still had the remains of flowers and grass in its stomach. They never have figured out how such a large animal could have frozen so solidly so quickly. Maybe that’s what Algore should be worried about...

Just this morning on the Classroom portion of The History Channel, the narrator said that it has always been ice-covered and that it was called Greenland just to entice people from Iceland to relocate there, honest; I heard him. That commentator is full of (shhhhhh) it. It was green 1,000 or so years ago when discovered by the Vikings. There are the remnants of settlements there that have recently been found now that the glaciers are melting back a bit. Either that, or the oil companies and SUV manufacturers spent a lot of money getting fake evidence put into place.
To: 1rudeboy
It was green enough to farm in the 10th Century, when the Vikings came to settle.

This has been known outside the MSM/DBM/LSM/global-warming-circles. Perhaps, feeling the tide not running in their favor, the MSM is trickling out some stories to lay the ground work for the demise of human-caused-global-warming theories. They cannot just admit its wrong... they have to float some “evidence” over a period of months or years, and then, based on the previous news, claim there is no globull warming (or put out an alternative).
