If she swallows her pride and stumps for questionable issues the way Tony Snow does, I would not suggest she take the job.

You may like what you hear from Coulter, but the vast majority do not.

Must be another "silent majority"

Her loud mouth and ruthless attitude immediately propelled her to the summit of the media mountain, where she sits as the queen of the neoconservative movement.

Charlton Heston might be my president, but Ann Coulter is my queen!

That is true - I had never heard anything as pathetic as Snow trying to defend the immigration bill.

Duncan Hunter said it best: “In this case, Ann Coulter is a very articulate spokeswoman for the conservative view.... I think she’s closely approaching that level of being a great American.”

Ann Coulter does indeed approach Great American status. She is unfailingly perceptive, wise and witty, and seductively beautiful, but that’s not what really distinguishes her in the field of punditry. She was one of the first of very few who urged caution on the John Roberts nomination for the Supreme Court. That was prudent, and Roberts is showing signs of becoming a great Chief Justice.

But, more to the point, Ann Coulter earned the “greatness” honor when she courageously broke with the president and many fellow Republicans to denounce the Harriet Miers nomination. Almost single-handedly at first, she started the process that ended with Samuel Alito’s confirmation. Coulter’s momentous act, joined eventually by others, is changing the course of American history and is cementing the domestic part of President Bush’s everlasting legacy.

I am grateful for what she did—for her courage in speaking out, and I delight in the humor she brings to political discourse in her columns. And screw the MSM and the Dems who can’t take a joke or an insightful remark as she holds up her mirror to reflect on the nonsense that so often passes in Washington as normal behavior. Let them have their hissyfits.

Bless her. She brings great gifts to be shared. Ann Coulter is truly a Great American.

.

So Peebs (can I call you Peebs?) which political party subscribes “stroke of the pen, law of the land, kinda cool” to the executive (centralization of authority)? Which party is that of taxation, regulation and political correctness(socioeconomic controls)? Which party deals with viewpoints in opposition by calling for firing, or banning of those viewpoints (censorship)? Which party sees individuals in terms of their race rather than theirselves (racism)?
___________

Both of them. At least based on the questions you’ve asked above.

“The Islamic supremacist mindset must be put to rest.”

And history has shown, repeatedly, that it can only “put to rest” when the “mindset” has been demonstrated, in practical terms, to be bankrupt on every level you can imagine.

Islam, and everything it has built, every hope it holds out, every vision that it puts forth in defense of it’s continued exsitance, must be dismantled, brick-by-brick, and in the most disgusting and inhumane ways, in order to create the required “mindset” for fundamental change.

The only way to do this is to inflict suffering on an unimaginable scale,so as to make an alternative not only a viable option, but dammed attractive.

Just ask anyone (on the losing side) who survived the horrors of Nazi Germany and Imperial Japan if their worldview and “mindset” would have changed if they were not reduced to drinking out of puddles and toying with thoughts of cannibalism, and see if I’m not right.

Politics mocks itself... it doesn’t need any help from the lovely and loquacious Ann Coulter to do that!

As fundamentalist as any Ayatollah, Coulter may serve to be a greater threat to the American way of life than any terrorist.

This is just so stupid, it's beyond words. How many people has Ann Coulter killed? How many bombs has she planted?

It just never ceases to amaze me how stupid some people are. If I were an Ayatollah, I'd be given thanks to Allah not only for idiots like this who can't differentiate between Jihadists and defenders of freedom, but more importantly for the idiots who'd believe them.

I am not Coulter’s number one fan, but if anything deserves mockery, it’s politics.

My post was in OBJECTION to Post 36 in which it was flatly stated that the vast majority do “NOT like what they hear from Coulter.”

I’m firmly in the AC camp.
