SOSDD........
A flipfloppin I will go, flipfloppin I will go, hi ho a porno, flipfloppin I still go.
Unless Romney (1) knows what's on the cable channels in the hotel rooms in the first place; and (2) is on the board of directors with sufficient clout to make a change, in the second place; I don't see how he is personally responsible for every marketing choice made by Marriott.
Besides, with what passes for network TV these days, if the TVs carry the major networks and MTV somebody could accuse it of being pornography. It's certainly trash.
What kind of “ties” to Marriott? Is he an investor? Does he have Marriott in his stock portfolio?
This is a stretch as I would bet that all of his competitors on both sides of the aisle have at one time or another stayed in a Marriott or one of its off brands.
Oh yeah I wonder how many of them have ever stayed in a Hilton Hotel?
This along with my post is the most silly item of the day.
We need to know if they provide Lotion too for the guest. Perhaps Fred Thompson lobby for the lotion company....
OH GEEZ YOU BROWNBACK IDOITS. YOU GUY IS NOT GOING TO WIN SO STOP THROW FIREBOMBS AT OTHER CANIDATES LIKE A BUNCH OF HOLY ROLLERS.
“...with what passes for network TV these days...”
Yep just like Amazon does not carry XXX yet but it does have a giant “gay/lesbian” category. Which is worse? Perhaps the faggot stuff that is geared toward influencing early teens in their most awkward times of adolescence is worse than the XXX that just shows sexual congress.
It's pay per view porn, and everybody knows about it.
(2) is on the board of directors with sufficient clout to make a change
Yes, he served on the Board in the 90's, but apparently made no effort to change the chain's policy. Can't pass up tens of millions of dollars in porno sales, you know, even though Mitt makes a big deal about how anti-porn and anti-R-rated movies (ha!) he is.
Not saying you all. But my guess is this is coming from Brownback people since they seem to be attacking everyone but McCain now or days. Geez I wonder why not McCain.
LOL.
If you are going to call some one an idiot, you should at least know how to spell the word.
He was on their Board of Directors at one time, but resigned in 2002.

No, he’s not responsible, but now he will have to answer the media questions on this issue anyway. That’s how the game is played, find the dirt no matter how far-removed and bring it right into the center. Romney will have to now come out pro-porno or anti-porno, with ramifications on either side.
He was drawing 100K/yr while an active member of the board ... he took the money some of which came from sale of porn in the hotels he helped to keep operating and selling the smut, and he knew where the money came from.
Well, for that matter he took money made from the sale of liquor in Marriott Hotels - big frickin’ deal. I’m not even a particular supporter of Romney (Run, Fred, Run!) but this seems to be an incredible stretch.
Wow. Talk about a slanted sentence.
I'm no Mitt fan. I won't vote for him under any circumstances because I think he's a flip-flopper with no core principles who's willing to say anything he thinks you want to hear to get elected, but this attack is way out of line.
Unless he personally instituted the PPV project, defended it, or attacked other hotel chains for XXX pay-per-view, there's no hypocrisy here. Any more than as a Mormon he's a hypocrite for serving on the board of a hotel chain that stocks minibars.
