Hey there KinAK,

Practicin’ “The Gael” (Last of the Mohicans) on the pipes for the 4th (already have a decent patriotic repertoir) but the triplet runs in 12/4 are drivin’ me nuts! But got the main theme locked in. May work out yet.

Our boy is at yet another small outpost SW of Baghdad (not Bataan so our 4th will be the same as many of you, in prayer, optimistic and generally “on hold”, but we got the easy part, right?

Good tag line and you’re right, I think we know where you’re at Brian...home.

John Adams wrote this historic letter to his wife:

“I am apt to believe that this day will be celebrated
by succeeding generations as the great anniversary
festival. It ought to be commemorated as the day of
deliverance, by solemn acts of devotion
to God Almighty. It ought to be solemized
with pomp and parade, with shows, games, sports,
guns, bells, bonfires, and illuminations, from one
end of this continent to the other, from this time
forward forevermore.”

I think I’ll go light a fuse.
