I here ya! It’s legal for me to step on my back porch and shoot my rifles. Fireworks are expected. If I shoot them down the road I could get in trouble! LOL

Hello Dear One
I saw your post too late. Do we count as close? You do recall that I have 105 SQUARE FEET of grill/smoker space available for the burning of all manner of dead animal? Dallas had the "small" grill fired up when I came by on my way home last nite. I think he had 2 cases of Boston Butts and a case of ribs he was getting ready for today. All you gotta do is call when you are going to be in the neighborhood. We just love an excuse to start a fire.
This is my first attempt at posting a pic. If this works right, this is a picture of the family at our oldest son's USAF Basic Training Graduation. There's Tyler, Matt (FReeper Clarinet_King), yours truly, and proud momma CDBear.

The Honor Guard soldiers came in and picked up the flag...
They unfolded the flag...
Snapped it smartly open...
Refolded it very precisely.....
Presented it to the SGT...
The presentation to Matt...they also presented him with 3 shell casings.
SouthernHawk wrote..."As the ceremony comes to an end, the folded flag is presented to the family and the melancholy tune from a single bagpipe carries our thoughts and prayers to heaven." Pipey playing Eternal Father and Amazing Grace.
The gentleman to the left was from the Portland Coast Guard Staton. He said, "I'm in charge of these guys. Brian got trained, and trained the others. His contribution will not be forgotten."
Saying goodbye to the PGR.
The last look at the site of Brian's Memorial service.

I’m sure he was a very good man. He looked to young to go but that call is left to a higher power.
RIP TONK, America will miss you!
