Conservative syndicated columnist and author Cal Thomas is under fire for comments deemed by the Council on American-Islamic Relations to express "Islamophobic attitudes." Discussing the weekend’s UK terror plots, Thomas compared some Muslims to a “slow spreading cancer.” CNS reports that CAIR is urging supporters to call DC radio station WTOP-AM to “express your concerns.” CAIR described the Thomas comments as “incitement.” The message included the name and work number of a radio station executive.

And he graduated from my university, American U which is very liberal. However, when I graduated, it was small, independent and believe it or not, a Methodist University with many Jewish and foreign students. Cal is great and CAIR is feeling , if the shoe fits syndrome.

What we have today is western civilization vs. contemporary barbarianism. The problem is, western civilization is having difficulty rationalizing contemporary barbarianism. It simply does not compute. Thus, 7th century minded contemporary barbarians take advantage.
Meanwhile, we gasp in horror at their heinous crimes. All the while our govt is sending billions to their coffers in so called humanitarian aid. Shouldn’t we be gasping in horror at that as well?
The answer is, while unspeakably barbaric, the final solution. If we don’t defeat the barbarians now, we should, at the least, prepare our grandchildren to be converted, enslaved, or beheaded.

There is no fear of Islam. There is hatred of fanatic Islam. Fanatic Islam will be exterminated, not because it is feared, but because it is inherently evil.
Sad to say, but it takes courage for him to say these things. America’s liberals may go ballistic over this piece of “hate speech.” They still have the power to make life miserable through verbal attacks or lawsuits. Muslims (ROP) can turn violent and go after him directly. You might want to say a prayer for his wellbeing.
Every week there are reports of Muslim acts of terrorism and savagery. Only a fraction make it to the MSM. There is seldom outrage. What outrage exists and is shown is improperly directed. It seems like Muslim acts of violence are part of the background and “no cause for alarm.” We have become complacent. It is September 10th 2001 all over again.

COMMON-SENSE analysis by Cal and THE key reason so many of us are calling Bush out on his NON-ACTIONS on the border, although it’s probably too late to close what the Islamists viewed for decades as the open gates of Troy — and they didn’t even NEED that wooden horse. They simply strolled in.
The BEST news I heard in the last 48 hours was the generally liberal rag, Newsday, (started by LBJ’s bud, Bill Moyers) coming out and saying that we MAY have a problem with islam.
A few more doctor bombings and even the super-dense Brits might start to “get it.”
