Conservative syndicated columnist and author Cal Thomas is under fire for comments deemed by the Council on American-Islamic Relations to express "Islamophobic attitudes." Discussing the weekend’s UK terror plots, Thomas compared some Muslims to a “slow spreading cancer.” CNS reports that CAIR is urging supporters to call DC radio station WTOP-AM to “express your concerns.” CAIR described the Thomas comments as “incitement.” The message included the name and work number of a radio station executive.
I tried calling cair but their office is closed. You can’t just leave a message. I wonder why. I guess I’ll just have to try back tomorrow. It’s the 4th of July, only one of our biggest commemorations, but I am sure they probably do not celebrate it.

Why is it that people who fly planes into buildings, bomb cars, trains, buses, night clubs, cut heads off while singing religious ditties get to be the biggest and the best victim group?

The day CAIR starts dictating to America about ANYTHING is the day they should be shut down legally. We have enough with the Communistas in the ACLU running loose in our Republic. They should have been shut down decades ago.

After a long time of simply putting up with it, it may be time to set the nomenclature straight! Phobic denotes fear. There is no fear here of Islam nor of Islamofascists. Nor is there fear of gays (homophobia). Since when did it become a phobia, a fear, to dislike or to distance oneself from any group? And while we’re at it, when the heck will someone use “tragic” and “ironic” as they were intended to be used? Today, every sad or unhappy event is “tragic.” Every mere coincidence is “ironic.” Enough already! Send broadcasters back to school!

How is he “under fire”? Just because some terrorism supporters who are funded by the Saudis are trying to censor an American columnist? I listened to this 3 times and failed to find anything even remotely “controversial”. Fortunately for Cal, the group attacking him is about the most vulnerable to counter-attack there is, based on its own words and deeds.

Okay, so then why is it okday for the President of Iran to spout his threats to Israel? Or when they present us with insurgents claiming they will kill all christians and their suporters? Why is is a big deal when this man is telling the Gods honest truth about these people?
