TAMPA — When a 42-year-old registered sex offender answered the door naked and acting nervous during a surprise check by cops, the officers acted on suspicion and searched his home. What they found next was a 15-year-old girl in Robert Gomez's bed, according to MyFoxTampaBay.com. Click here to read the report from MyFoxTampaBay.com, which includes a photo of Gomez. The girl cooperated, telling cops she met Gomez in an online chat room seven months ago, and that a sexual relationship began immediately. Gomez was arrested and booked on one count of lewd and lascivious battery and a probation violation. Already a registered a sex offender, Gomez was convicted in June 2002 on a lewd and lascivious assault charge on a victim under the age of 16. He is being held on $7,500 bond for the second-degree felony.

It doesnt matter if she was naive or not. He broke the law, abused a child (not first time by the way) and will continue to until some very unhappy parent puts a bullet between his eyes.

Um this guy is 42 not 12. And it depends on what you mean by abuse. But I would say depending on the circumstance they dont need to be in the general population. Juvie until they are adults and then prison.
Bond is $7,500? Should be $7,500,000!
