Senator Clinton issued the following statement on President Bushs decision to commute the sentence of Scooter Libby:
"Today's decision is yet another example that this Administration simply considers itself above the law. This case arose from the Administration's politicization of national security intelligence and its efforts to punish those who spoke out against its policies. Four years into the Iraq war, Americans are still living with the consequences of this White House's efforts to quell dissent. This commutation sends the clear signal that in this Administration, cronyism and ideology trump competence and justice."
Pot meet kettle.
I guess when asked what people think of her hubby’s pardons, she will go back to the “I don’t recall” or “I don’t remember” excuses.
Both those lying, deceiving scumbags were just on our local WHO radio claiming that this commutation proves that the administration thinks they’re above the law, blah, blah, blah. The talk show host asked The Bent One about his pardons and he claimed his were different. He waffled. David Yepsen is the fill-in talk show host and pretty much gave them a pass. It was nauseating.
Senator Clinton-
This morning’s news reports your remarks in regard to President Bush’s recent commutation of Scooter Libby’s jail time. You said, “In this administration, cronyism and ideology trump competence and justice . . . .”
With all due respect, Senator Clinton, your words could not ring more hollow. Having observed your behavior from the time you and your husband entered the Oval office in particular and national politics in general, the American people have seen a quintessential example of cronyism, incompetence, and injustice.
If you expect the American people to accept your remarks as well-placed or effective, then please understand you are sorely mistaken.
Sincerely,
Most. Hypocritical. Statement. Ever. Made.
This woman simply has no conscience whatsoever. None.

Dear Ms Clinton,
Before you harangue the President on the commutation of Libby’s sentence, perhaps you should consider whether your husband should have been sentenced to jail time for his perjury. And then you can explain the endless pardons he gave upon leaving the presidency.
It might behoove you to remember that people who live in glass houses should not throw stones.
Sincerely,
Tioga
Ditto.
Excuse me fat-cakes! The President of the USA is Constitutionally permitted to do such... YOU ARE LYING!
"This case arose from the Administration's politicization of national security intelligence and its efforts to punish those who spoke out against its policies."
The Bush Admin did not set out to punish anyone. The leaker was Dick Armitage. YOU ARE LYING, AGAIN!
What a hypocrite!
Hillary reminds me of the scribes and Pharisees the Lord Jesus had to stand against and point out their utter foolishness with the truth.
She is as lost as a goose in a snowstorm and has absolutely no business whatsoever of being a local dogcatcher much less the president of our great nation. I pray that she is soundly defeated and a godly Christian conservative becomes our next president.
This is such a stupid statement. So why not blast her out of the park? Come on Bush - step up to the plate. Speak up!
Don’t forget MEL REYNOLDS the RAT-sexual predator who molested a 16 year old girl!! Where’s your RAT/lib/socialist/NAG HAG/feminazi outrage about that, Heinous Harridan? ~~crickets~~
.
LOL!
Good post potlatch!
I’m seeing better today!
[Im seeing better today!]
Lol, yesterday you only had eyes for CARS!!
Excellent post!
Ya’ hafta wonder what the heck is she thinking?
Or....is she just that arrogant?
I think I know the answer...
Hillary is just a good little street-corner demagogue bullying and repeating, attacking and denying, projecting, projecting, projecting.
You are SO right!
Apparently, she also seems to have a “God” complex.
I believe it was Dick Morris who asked her to find a flaw in herself so they could make her appear more human.
Her answer? “Nope...there’s nothing.”
