could have been held by so many reporters to be a better choice for President than the two-time Vice President, Senator, Representative and environment and nuclear weapons expert

He forgot "Physics Expert" too.

While in the Senate, Algore used to sit in the hallways and leaf through a college physics textbook while pretending to read it. Other Senators and staffers could tell he was looking up to get at people's reaction more than he was actually reading the book.

Gore did it to try and fool people. He finally stopped when some friendly Democrat senators told him he looked like a complete fool.

Gore's college roommate, Tommy Lee Jones, attested to Gore's stupidity.

Do you have any references to this?

"An Inconvenient Truth" has turned out to be perhaps the most influential political argument by a private citizen since Rachel Carson's "Silent Spring."

Thank you for mentioning "Silent Spring", an earlier fraud.

I’m sure it would be useless to tell this writer that the federal Government was NOT to be the first responder during Katrina, panties on the head is not torture, a 10 year projected surplus was only just that made up by a dishonest adminstration during a bubble economy.

Clinton’s “successful” 2 term Presidency left this country’s economy slowing and heading toward recession, this nation vulnurable to terrorist attacks and our enemies’ were NOT being killed and their abilty to do this country harm was not being diminished.

G.W. Bush is the first President to have earned a MBA, he was a jet fighter pilot, the successful owner of a major league baseball team, a successful 2 term Governor of one of our largest states, Texas.

He has successfully lead the USA out of what could have been a devastating recession, has led the world in the beginnings of destroying our terrorist enemies.

Oh yeah, this morning, July 2, it was 48 degrees here in Sidney, Ohio. There’s lots I don’t sgree with about Bush, $5 billion annually from the federal government to study climate change is at the top of the list. If you’re a scientist and want some grant money are you going to question climate change?

Bush’s biggest mistake is trying to “get along” with the liberal, socialist Democrats. These people need to be defeated, nothing less.

Eric Alterman is actually a staunch conservative with a wry and extremely biting sense of sarcastic humor....This whole piece is really a put-on.

I laughed so hard that I needed to clean the vomit off my screen.

In 1995 the White House hosted a major drug dealer at it's Christmas party, Mobster Jorge Cabrera. Gabrera gave $20,000 to the DNC. Besides being photographed in front of the White House Christmas tree withHillary, Cabrera was photographed with Al Gore at a Miami fund-raiser.The Clinton administration initially attempted to conceal the photo by arguing that a publicity shot with the Vice President is covered by the Privacy Act.

Cabrera was indicted in 1983 by a federal grand jury, on racketing and drug charges. In 1988, he was accused of managing a continuing narcotics operation. He pleaded guilty to lesser charges and served 54 months on prison .After his visit to the White House, Cabrera would be sentenced to 19 years in prison for transporting 6,000 pounds of cocaine into the US.
