(a) hearing Senator Lindsay Graham (R-SC) telling amnesty opponents to “Shut up!”

(b) Senators Trent Lott (R-MS) and Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) blaming talk radio and threatening to reintroduce the Fairness Doctrine,

(c) Senator Arlen Specter (R-PA) telling the Senate that “We don’t know what the people think.”

Did you hear Mort Kondracke telling how some senators were “scared” because of all the opposition to amnesty? They actually believed they were above reproach!

(d) Senators Lott and Voinovitch referring to their constituents calling their offices as “intimidation.”
