How about a few phone calls that you can easily make that will force the HANDLERS of puppet Senators to his/her knees?
You’ll have more impact that way than you can possibly have otherwise.
FAX and PHONE and VISIT the Public Relations and Media CONTACTS for key firms.
Follow the money. Find the source. Shut it off. That means change your spending and shopping habits. To do otherwise is fantasy, wishful thinking. But be prepared to make a few changes. I’m doing it. Many will.

Contact the biggest five or ten or twenty firms you can find a contact in. The higher up the better of course–but any level will do. Identify yourself and tell them how much you have spent in the recent past at their place of business.
Tell them you are dropping off a sign at their place of business and you will shop there IF and ONLY IF the sign is prominently displayed in the entry area. Tell them you will also be soon stopping by their location and providing them a Personal Affidavit for the Manager On Duty to sign, with preagreed mitigatory damages.
Start thinking like this. Start making your supply chain accountable for the full range of consequences.
If they refuse, walk away and create a competing ecosystem.

So....what are you selling, and where do I buy, and what am I buying? Spotted owls? Bald Eagles are back in. Are we stopping the War in Iraq, asking for the President to hand over papers, or the Mexicans to go home. Just what am I suppose to say to the higher authorities of 10 major businesses once I get them on the phone. Standing by in Mexico for more clear instructions. The multinationals are expecting shopping and consumption patterns to stay the same. By starting local agriculture co-operatives and other alternative sources we can make a substantial impact on the bottom line of these companies.
Consider how to defer discretionary expenditures.
Don’t buy a new car or other major purchase unless the manufacturer starts to advocate Pro-USA advertising, business policies and employment practices. Buy used, support your local law-abiding dealer and all that....

How about some of the American CAN-DO spirit? The one that says we will make things happen.
The phone calls strictly to Congress have not been enough to stop the attempts to injure America.

If local entrepreneuers work together, they don’t need to buy much from outside the local ecosystem. That’s the way it used to work and can work again.
Don’t just sit there, start thinking about nearby areas that would work to grow crops. Adopt a Boy Scout troop to help plant and tend it.

Get control back over your supply chain. YOU are the customer. Spend your money where it will benefit YOU the most.
