As Mark Twain might say, reports of the Immigration Bill's death have been highly exaggerated.
The bill might have been killed for the second time, but today's Wall Street Journal reports that at least three key parts of it may still have life (one of which, the Dream Act, I've previously written about). Yes, it's like Freddy Kruger. The bill never completely dies. These, too, must be killed:
It ain't over 'til it's over.

Oh well, one day off was nice. I guess its back to work now. Lets break out the email and phone numbers again. My boss gave me the afternoon off, so I was going to recover from this week and do a little celebrating. Looks like it's time to refresh my phone arsenal, etc.

Yes, Dick Morris was telling BOR just last night about Hillary’s grand scheme for illegals. Is there nothing this woman cannot solve.

“Sergeant York.” 1941. One of my favorite old movies...loved Gary Cooper in it.

But we shouldn’t let ‘em get in-state tuition, unless the state offers it to ALL US Citizens first.
And US Citizens should get preference at the college, too!

There’s at least on part of the amnesty bill we won’t see anyone in Washington pushing too hard — the part about securing the border.
These clowns are beyond belief.

I’m against using the military as a conduit. It was bad for Rome too.
Citizens, with families and culture at stake, fighting to protect their country, the greatest conceived on Earth, are why our All Volunteer Military is as effective as it is.
As soon as you use citizenship as an INCENTIVE, you take the volunteer out of the All Volunteer Military.
Worse, you run the risk of training and arming Mexicans who are then going to essentially infiltrate our ranks. Before, they were illegal. Now they are basically STILL illegal, but now they are trained killers with guns.
I’m going to say . . . no Bob.

Congress has challenged the American people to a massive game of “Whack-A-Mole”!
Just as the Senate tried to ram CIR through before anyone even read it, other legislations, large and small, bad and worse will be flying around the halls of congress under the radar, waiting for opportune moments.
The ruling class has tasted the insubordination of the masses and they do not like it.

So I guess the will of the people means nothing to Washington unless they happen NOT to be citizens.
