Gee, I wonder who planted this “device?”
Amish? Catholics? Baptists? Quakers? Anglicans?
You don’t suppose it was Muslims, do you? (major league sarcasm)
It is believed that a major terrorist attack in the heart of the capital has been thwarted.
Sources say the perpetrators were not Irish, suggesting Islamic extremists were behind the potential attack, outside an American Express foreign exchange.
Sky's Tim Marshall said: "No doubt this was an attempted terror attack."
He said the target was probably civilians because there are no major political institutions in the area.

A “massive” explosive device found in a car in central London has been defused, Sky sources say.
It is believed that a major terrorist attack in the heart of the capital has been thwarted.
Bomb scare in HaymarketPolice were called to reports of a suspicious vehicle parked in The Haymarket area shortly before 2am this morning.
The area was cordoned off by police who examined the car.
They discovered what appeared to be a potentially explosive device, which was then made safe.
It is believed that the vehicle was a silver Mercedes which contained gas canisters.
The Haymarket is in the heart of London’s theatreland and close to the popular shopping area of Regent Street.
An investigation has been launched by the Metropolitan Police’s Counter Terrorism Command.
Sources say the perpetrators were not Irish, suggesting Islamic extremists were behind the potential attack, outside an American Express foreign exchange.
Sky’s Tim Marshall said: “No doubt this was an attempted terror attack.”
He said the target was probably civilians because there are no major political institutions in the area.
Authorities are warning of major traffic disruption in the area, with several roads shut along with Piccadilly Tube station.
More follows...

“London ‘bomb’ made safe by police”
ARTICLE SNIPPET: “The Haymarket is in London’s theatreland, close to the busy Piccadilly Circus.”
Don’t worry, Brown and Soros will offer them trinkets to be nice boys and girls.
This says it all:

“MAJOR TERROR ATTACK IN LONDON FOILED”
Listening to Sky News via Fox...”gas cannisters and nails “

“Suspected bomb defused in London”
POSTED: 3:31 a.m. EDT, June 29, 2007
LONDON, England (Reuters) —
ARTICLE SNIPPET: “The street was sealed off while police investigated and was likely to remain closed for the foreseeable future, they said.
The nearby Piccadilly Circus underground train station was open, but exit restrictions were in place, the police said.”
If Muslims were responsible, then it was Islamophobia to dismantle the bomb.
After all, Osama bin Laden, in his list of grievances, lists how the West denies Muslims the “right of Jihad.”
How dare we deny them their Allah-given rights??!?
I haven’t heard a “nuclear” rumor, but you know what I always say, “Jihad, another day.”

“Car bomb found and defused in Central London”
(Michael Crabtree/The Times)
ARTICLE SNIPPET: “The vehicle was believed to be a silver Mercedes which contained a number of gas canisters. It is expected to be taken away to the Forensic Explosives Laboratory in Kent for further tests.
Bomb disposal officers attended the scene to make the device safe. Police then cordoned off a number of entrances and exits to Piccadilly Circus Tube Station, which was then closed for safety reasons by Transport for London. The station is set to remain closed for much of the morning.”
ARTICLE SNIPPET: “Mr Brown’s new Cabinet was due to meet this morning, and will be briefed by Cobra, the government’s emergencies committee.
This month Scotland Yard confirmed that it was carrying out spot checks on lorries and container tankers entering London because of concerns that terrorists might try to copy tactics used by insurgents in Iraq”
Those British muzzies are brazen little scamps, aren’t they? Nobody is safe anywhere until this scourge is wiped out. Here in America, we are afraid to call the enemy by its name, and Heaven forbid we should restrict their emigration here.
The next wake-up call is likely to be on a scale that will crash our economy and make the WTC/Pentagon attacks pale in comparison. It is coming. THEY are coming.
I should clarify my previous comment...I haven’t heard of a “nuclear” rumor specifically for a specific area in the UK.

“Irish link to London bomb not being ruled out”
29/06/2007 - 8:37:37 AM
ARTICLE SNIPPET: “One eyewitness has told Sky News that door staff at the Haymarket nightclub Tiger, Tiger alerted police after the car at the centre of the forensics operation was driven into bins last night and the driver ran off.”
ARTICLE SNIPPET: “Tiger, Tiger, a popular bar, club and restaurant with branches across the UK, is located at 29 The Haymarket. “
On Fox News, it looks like a big blue tent in the middle of a street, next to a door entrance to a building. Sky News reporters saying this is the center of London tourist visits, and a device going off with this area filled with people, as it normally is, would have been devastating.
