CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- The string of fires terrorized the Dilworth neighborhood for weeks.
Thursday morning, the suspect is due in court, and victims may finally get some closure.
Police arrested Susan Davidson in May 2006 for allegedly torching four different homes in Dilworth, including her own.
At the time, Davidson was also suspected in setting 11 other fires.
Police point to several pieces of evidence linking her to the fires.
They also said she told investigators details about the fires which were not revealed to the media or neighbors.
Meantime, Davidsons lawyer said she was taking the sleep aid Ambien and doesnt remember what happened.
A plea hearing was held for Davidson in March, but it was continued until Thursday.
“They also said she told investigators details about the fires which were not revealed to the media or neighbors.
Meantime, Davidsons lawyer said she was taking the sleep aid Ambien and doesnt remember what happened.”
Well, except for the details she told the cops. What a sham.
Ambien defense won’t help her, ‘cause she’s not Patrick Kennedy. Who does she think she is?
The Ambien defense might explain why she doesn’t remember, but it sure doesn’t explain why she went out and committed arson. Good luck with that.
If she had been taking Rozerem instead she would have been building log cabins...

Fire Sleeper!......
Ambien, the ‘get out of jail free’ pill...
From experience with Ambien, I know you can do some pretty stupid stuff and not remamber anything!!!
My wife calls it my ‘stupid pill’
like not remembering how to spell remember, or remembering to use the spell check...
see what I mean....
Helloooooo - “Honest Abe”!
oh here we go
one of the side effects of the sleep aid Ambien is .....drowsiness.
I occasionally take Lunesta, which is pretty much the same drug, and have also done some weird things at night. But there’s no way I would be lucid enough to get out of my house and go commit arson.
Now eating a box of Little Debbie Nutty Bars on the other hand....
More than that, it’s a hypnotic.
...or an entire bag of Fiery Habanero Doritos!
LOL.
I tried Ambien and had a very negative experience. I actually can’t remember anything from the day after I took it. I apparently went to work and had discussions with several people, but I don’t remember a thing. Needless to say, I will not be taking any more Ambien.
