Yesterday afternoon in Norfolk, Virginia, the Virginian-Pilot newspaper reported that the federal Drug Enforcement Administration has developed a particular interest in People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals .
On April 18 a dozen DEA agents searched PETA's headquarters for records related to how the group uses--and trains its staff to use--controlled substances. We already know what the drugs are used for: PETA has killed over 14,000 helpless dogs and cats since it started reporting the practice in 1998. But since the animal-cruelty trial of two PETA employees closed three months ago, we have been wondering whether the feds would continue to follow the trail of barbiturates that a PETA van tracked through rural North Carolina. We're not wondering any more.
During the North Carolina trial of PETA employees Adria Hinkle and Andrew Cook, DEA supervisor Brian Reise testified that "there is no registration in North Carolina for PETA to handle, in any capacity, controlled substances."
Yet neither defendant has (yet) been charged with drug-related crimes. And PETA lawyer Jeff Kerr -- who testified that Hinkle and Cook "were relying on my advice" when they improperly carried deadly drugs out of Virginia and into the Tar Heel State -- still has his job.

This is special :
PETAs tax returns show some other interesting payments as well. A $2,000 payment to a David Wilson, at the time a spokesman for the Animal Liberation Front. A $5,000 payment to Joshua Harper, a self-described anarchist who faces terrorism charges for smoke bombing an insurance company with ties to a medical research firm.
Harper, incidentally, denies being a terrorist. He did tell the Seattle Post-Intelligencer, however, that he has a spark of hope ”a spark of hope in every broken window, every torched police car and every mink running free as their hearts desire.” He also says his ultimate goal is the complete collapse of industrial civilization.

People for the Egregious Termination of Animals.
pingping
I’m glad to see the Feds taking down this terror group.
But DEA? I’m expecting more like FBI or ATF (because of their arsons and bombings).
Then again, these hippie freaks are stoned out of their gourd...
Doncha’ know? “Live free or die” and all that.,,
Except that’s only applicable to animals. Us filthy humans can rot in a PETA “reeducation” camp.
PETA paperwork seized by the DEA shows that the group has been dispensing a powerful pesticide called Pentasol...
PETA has killed over 14,000 helpless dogs and cats since it started reporting the practice in 1998...
Not just cocaine and dope.
I guess pentasol is a controlled substance/narcotic.
Anyhoo, whatever destroys this organization faster.
I am not a chemist : there may be a spelling issue ? :
pentanol

Pentasol

From the links you gave us, pentanol sounds significantly nastier than pentasol.
But pentasol in high doses could probably kill ione just as dead. Hence we don’t ingest cleaning products.
Not for long. Those DEA boys now all about the Conspiracy statutes.
Mr. Kerr is going to have a date with a Grand Jury methinks.
L
Thanks. My chemical knowledge is limited.
Let’s hope it is soon ?
Mr. Kerr is going to have a date with a Grand Jury methinks.
Were not sure what possessed Jeffrey Kerr, legal counsel for PETA, to claim in The Des Moines Register this week that his organization does not support violence. We dont know how he can get away with publicly stating that PETA has never funded convicted Earth Liberation Front Terrorists or any terrorists at all.
We do know that Kerrs words are a pure fabrication. PETA has a long history of supporting violent criminals, and has directly given over $100,000 to those convicted of arson, attempted murder, and large-scale vandalism.

As is mine. Thank you for the links. Very interesting. Anyhow, it’s a good day when the enemies of civilization get their comeuppance.
I know someone who worked directly with Ingrid Newkirk.
But isn’t that better than them being a prisoner to some human? Sarcasm to the max.
PETA president Ingrid Newkirk ?
Any stories ?
Remember when they clubed the baby seals...they couldn’t find anyone actually DOING it, and they wanted to tape it to show how awful it was. SO THEY DID IT THEMSELVES.
They weren’t using them for food or skins or anything but a video...these “animal lovers” COULD club the little fellows IF IT WAS FOR THE GOOD OF THEIR CAUSE.
hypocritical pigs.
