Today President Bush spoke at the rededication of the Islamic Center of Washington. (Transcript)
Returning to the White House, the president met with experts to discuss how individual citizens can (and should) have the power to make their own health care decisions, not the government. He spoke about this later in the Roosevelt Room. (Transcript)
First Lady Laura Bush continued her tour of Africa, arriving in Maputo, Mozambique. There, Mrs. Bush met with President Armando Guebuza and toured US funded facilities that are fighting malaria and AIDS while helping the victims of those diseases.
Back home, Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice spoke at the US-India Business Council in Washington.
And on a much lighter (and happier) note, President Bush attended the Seventh-Annual Tee Ball Game this afternoon on the South Lawn of the White House. (Transcript)
Enjoy your visit to Sanity Island
Just trying to manage the pain meds .. I thought at the 3 wk mark, I should be able to wean off the pain pills that make me stoooopid and go to over-the-counter pills, but I suffered like the devil yesterday. So, I’m just half-stooopid .. breaking the Rx meds in half ..LOL .. and so far, thank God, I’m a thousand times better today.
Yep .. I’ve been out a lot .. and I get therapy here 2-3 times a week, as well as the home nurse to take my blood for the Coumadin level. That will unfortunately go on for 6 months. My knee is really strong .. my surgeon is an artist, truly. I threw the walker and cane away just about after the 1st week, but still dealing with swelling and pain.
Just have to get through this stage, which I pray gets better soon. But as I’m reminded, it is major surgery. Thanks for asking ..hope you and Dad are doing well. Hugs ;)
ROFL !!
Leave the thread.
Well, I explained myself in great detail, but they were removed. Guess it’s OK to bash me on this thread, but not OK for me to politely explain myself.
Sorry moderator, that was to be private so you didn’t have to pull it.
Love this! Great Dose..Thank you,jonny.
***I agree half the time I am not sure whether they are serious or not when they ask the question.
I normally look at their sign up date, if relatively new then give them the benefit of the doubt.
I sometimes as well look at their other posts if they seem well balanced then again I give benefit of the doubt and give an explanation.***
LOL! I’ve been doing exactly as you said above, Snugs, including giving the benefit of the doubt.
Until the last one.......when it was just TOO many times for precisely the same question to be asked for it to be a coincidence.
Thank you again, for the trip to Sanity Island... loved the pics at the ballpark.
