A day after his wife Elizabeth called in to MSNBC’s “Hardball” to confront conservative commentator Ann Coulter, Democratic presidential candidate John Edwards made his own appearance on the show.
He dismissed Coulter, calling her “mean-spirited,” having no shame and being “crazy.” He defended his wife’s efforts to ask Coulter to drop her personal attacks, saying, “You have to stand up to them.”
“I don’t think [Coulter] has any shame; there’s no doubt about that,” Edwards said. “I think that's just the way she behaves. That's who she is. And I think that's a lot of what we see from these people who are just -- that are crazy.”

Yep, Edwards is being a hypocrite again. His wife criticized Ann for using negative personal attacks (even though she couldn’t provide any valid examples) and what does he do, he uses negative personal attacks against Ann. How does anyone take him seriously?
Armstrong Williams was on Chrissy Matthews tonight. He claims that Ann has no following by anyone on the right, she is just an isolated voice, only a “cult” pay attention to anything she says. What does he know?
He’s pushing way too hard. If someone is crazy, they pretty much get a pass on mean-spirited and shameless.

I would love to see a debate between Ann Coulter and Mrs. Edwards - or better yet, Ann Coulter and Mr. Edwards.
She may very well be. But since when did sanity become a requirement to participate in politics? Some days, it seems as if everybody out there’s got a few toys in the attic.

And he wants to be President of the United States? Is she going to call all the foreign leaders, terrorists, etc. when they call her husband names too?

Hmmm, seems the Edwardses are projecting onto Ann what is true about themselves. Here is a candidate for the highest office in the land representing a party that pushes abortion on demand, perversion, homosexual marriage, socialism, an anti-God agenda which spurs on crime, children born out of wedlock, anti-Americanism, and I could go on and on, but we all get it. If that’s not crazy, mean-spirited, shameful and just plain SICK, I don’t know what is.
