This just about sums up Ron Paul....most honorable man in government today. I only posted an excerpt because I wanted to follow copyright rules. But hopefully you can follow the link to read the rest of the article.

I’ll give Ron Paul credit for one thing, his amazing ability to get these nuts all worked up on his behalf despite the fact that he’s a zero-accomplishment imbecile.

By the way, where does this “only true conservative in the race” differ with the people at The Daily Kos?

His career shows that a patriotic, pacific conservatism isn’t a paradox."

Pacific conservatism? As opposed to Atlantic conservatism?

Paul/Kucinich ‘08!

Especially after last week when Paul and his partner Kucinich were the only Congresspeople to vote against condemning Ahmadinejad for inciting genocide.

Ron ain’t a conservative. He’s a specie of classical liberal. He’s like John Adams, who talked non-intervention and wanted to pay the jizya (along with other European powers). It took a better man than him (Jefferson) to build a Navy and take it to the islamofascists. Shores of Tripoli and all that, eh? While I agree that we do too much for other countries, one must help one’s friends in this world, if you want them to help you. Ron’s domestic agenda and I agree. His foreign policy is hopelessly naive.

Ron Paul is not a conservative; he’s a libertarian. They are not the same thing.

What if Ron Paul runs for president on, say, the Constitution Party ticket? Who knows?

I think that question was answered in 1988, Logan 5.

He is also the only Republican candidate for president who is truly what all the others pretend to be, namely, a conservative.

Duncan Hunter fails the Joe Sobran "true conservative" test? Oh well, I guess Hunter ISN'T a conservative...he's just a poseur.

Ron Paul must be delighted by this ringing endorsement from prominent anti-Semite Joe Sobran.

Joe Sobran likes to round out his general crackpottedness by championing the theory that William Shakespeare didn't really write his own plays.

Written by Michael Scheuer, the former head of CIA’s Bin Laden Unit contained in ‘Imperial Hubris’ p 242[softcover].

“The United States is hated across the Islamic world because of specific U.S. Government policies and actions,,,,and the six U.S. policies bin Laden repeatedly refers to as anti-Muslim.

-U.S. support for Israel that keeps Palestinians in the Israelis’ thrall.
-Western and other Western troops on the Arabian Peninsula.
-U.S. occupation of Iraq and Afghanistan.
-U.S. support for Russia, India, and China against their Muslim militants.
-U.S. pressure on Arab energy producers to keep oil prices low.
-U.S. support for apostate, corrupt, and tyrannical Muslim governments.

Anyone who thinks bin Laden is fighting to make our women wear Burkas or to end our Bill of Rights, has been brainwashed.

Giuliani is ignorant about abortion and war.

Would he consider another Third Party Run as an Independent? He has more support now than he had last time when he ran on the Libertarian Ticket; about 100 times more support.

Despite my profound differences with Paul on some issues, I agree that he is honorable. But this fans need to cut the superlatives. He’s not the ONLY constitutionalist and he’s not the MOST honorable man in government. There are lots of others JUST as honorable and JUST as committed to the Constitution who have different views on defense matters.

Unfortunately, many here aren't big enough to admit they were wrong on the Iraq war. They'll sell the country down the tubes before they admit their error. Because of this, they are unable to see Ron Paul for the honorable man he is (look we've even got one buffoon here who will slander Joe Sobran rather than rethink his position on the war). This single-issue thinking will lead us to one of two alternatives:
  1. A Bush clone - a liberal in conservative clothing, who by plastering a conservative label on leftist policies gives them cover and moves the center leftwards.
  2. Another 4 years of Clinton presidency.
Paul is the last chance to put the Republican Party back on track, but I doubt most of the folks here have the intestinal fortitude for that. They'll sit back, push another establishment clone, and treat this whole thing like it's a football game. It's win at all costs, regardless of what it does to their country.
