You need an IRC chat client, may I suggest mIRC or PircH for windows, or any one of dozens for Linux.
(even some browsers have chat plug-ins like Firefox/Chatzilla)

I didnt get that part either, but the rest of the piece is really worth the time to read. Agreed. Well worth the read.
I even mirror the author's support of President Bush. In only differ in my lack of prior delusion that he's not a globalist.

It can be claimed that Bush campaigned as a moderate isolationist before the 2000 election. He changed dramatically after 9/11. From opposing nation building he became an ardent advocate of just that in both Afghanistan and Iraq. From what I've read, that can be about the only "isolationist" plank he can lay claim to. He's always been pro-NAFTA, pro- trucking corridor, and chummy with Mexico. At least on the economic front, he's every bit as Globalist as his father.
I still like GWB. I think he's a genuinely good man. Just wrong on immigration and "free" trade.

An out of balance perspective of the rights of the individual can turn into a tyranny of the minority. Communities can set decency standards, for example. You spelled out well the importance of the right to free speech. That matters so that you can argue your position before your fellow citizens. If you always have the right to win, free speech wouldn't be so necessary.
America's defining characteristic is freedom under God.

who is electable ... I prefer Duncan HunterI like Hunter, I disagree with him on a couple of things, but I have a great deal of respect for the man.
I was talking to a few liberal friends of mine the other day, and I started talking about Hunter, I knew it was a weird sign in that they didn't spit back any democratic talking points about him specifically (it was the generalized stuff), but then they just addmitted they hadn't heard of him, and didn't know who he was, they guessed he was part of the Tancrdo/Paul nitch.
In other words, on the upside, under the radar, on the downside, with a fear factor of zero and no name ID.
