Road map of who needs to lose their primary in ‘08, ‘10, and ‘12. Of course by then, the damage will be done.
Craig (R-ID)
No suprise there. Idaho was a split vote, Craig switched from last week. Craig up for re-election in ‘08 but some insiders have said he might not be running.
Brownback is a dork
So, did the republicans divvy out the anti-amnesty (no) votes to ensure passage . . . but to protect the reelection of the senators in danger from an pro-amnesty (yes) vote?
Thanks for nothing Pete.
Too bad Utah's have not. :-(
The betrayal makes me sick to my stomach.
Third world socialist hell hole here we come.
I am extremely disappointed to see that you voted for cloture on the amnesty bill S. 1639. One would think that the protestations of the American people on the original bill would have been an indicator that we do not support this law, that we want the current laws to be ENFORCED, not widespread amnesty for illegal aliens. Another side affect is that you had better start packing, because the Republican base is tired of being lied to and will start taking out thier annoyance on those who did not represent their best interests at the ballot box.
My two dim senators voted No..thats good..
The final bill as amended will face a cloture motion vote later this week.
The state of Missouri should impeach his a$$ right now.
Kit Bond is an idiot. He let himself vote yes while McCaskil(D) votes no. He must be going to dinner with the Senior “leadership” again. Slime ball.
Then why was Chambliss busy adding an amendment to prevent stores from adding waiting areas for illegals to the bill? If he never intended to vote for it? He and Johnny cut a deal is my guess since they stood front and center for the bill when it came out. They are in dire need of doing something before the new GA law against illegals takes effect.
This was not cloture on the final bill.
