I was so angry when I saw Kit Bond (R-MO) name on the yeas that I immediately sent him another email. Here is the text:

I am extremely disappointed to see that you voted for cloture on the amnesty bill S. 1639. One would think that the protestations of the American people on the original bill would have been an indicator that we do not support this law, that we want the current laws to be ENFORCED, not widespread amnesty for illegal aliens. Another side affect is that you had better start packing, because the Republican base is tired of being lied to and will start taking out thier annoyance on those who did not represent their best interests at the ballot box.

Allow me to dust off my crystal ball and tell you what will happen. Bond will offer his amendment. It will fail. Bond will vote against the final bill. Then he will be saying all over the state that he voted against the bill. Thus having it both ways.
