I was so angry when I saw Kit Bond (R-MO) name on the yeas that I immediately sent him another email. Here is the text:

I am extremely disappointed to see that you voted for cloture on the amnesty bill S. 1639. One would think that the protestations of the American people on the original bill would have been an indicator that we do not support this law, that we want the current laws to be ENFORCED, not widespread amnesty for illegal aliens. Another side affect is that you had better start packing, because the Republican base is tired of being lied to and will start taking out thier annoyance on those who did not represent their best interests at the ballot box.

Too bad Utah's have not. :-(

Oops, my bad! Hatch voted NO. That makes his and Bennett's cancel each other out.

Newsflash: this was cloture for amendments, not cloture on the final bill.

The final bill as amended will face a cloture motion vote later this week.

The state of Missouri should impeach his a$$ right now.

Kit Bond is an idiot. He let himself vote yes while McCaskil(D) votes no. He must be going to dinner with the Senior “leadership” again. Slime ball.

According to the Senate record:

Question: On the Cloture Motion (Motion to Invoke Cloture on the Motion to Proceed to Consider S.1639 )

I’ll check for more.

There they are in all their disloyal glory.

I hope it's a list that will go down in infamy as the group who sold out their own country.

Then why was Chambliss busy adding an amendment to prevent stores from adding waiting areas for illegals to the bill? If he never intended to vote for it? He and Johnny cut a deal is my guess since they stood front and center for the bill when it came out. They are in dire need of doing something before the new GA law against illegals takes effect.

Or in the case of here in GA so the heat would be off? My guess is they will now say the added amendments make it all good and can vote for it with a clear conscience.

Bush today
"I love a country where people come with dreams and aspirations, and work hard to make those dreams an aspirations come true"

When did Bush ever have to do a days work in his life? Bush is the pampered son of the monied elites. He knows NOTHING about work, Daddy's money and name got him EVERYTHING he has. Never has there been a worse president then the dim bulb Bush. Reagan never should have put Bush 1 on the ballet.

Allow me to dust off my crystal ball and tell you what will happen. Bond will offer his amendment. It will fail. Bond will vote against the final bill. Then he will be saying all over the state that he voted against the bill. Thus having it both ways.
