The funny thing about this is, when Tipper was questioned about the protesters of Nov 2000, she claimed she hadn’t noticed them.
(((That was a 40 something Gore suppoter who sucker punched a 13 year old in the stomach.)))
I forgot all about that until you just mentioned it!!!
The one thing that stands out in my mind was the support we got from the cars...more people on our side than against. In D.C., that’s saying something. At least that’s how it appeared to me...
Yes. I took a leave of absence from making very bad cartoons. I'm pretty useless as a comedy writer. I was home for the 36 days because Daddy's mansion compound in Tennessee wasn't finished yet. I mean, seriously, how can you move in when the pool house isn't finished?
LOL, I’ve got that book....great book by the way! Love this thread....I joined FR 11-24-2000.....fed up with the Goreon’s antics. And also proud to say, I and 2 of my friends took to the streets to protest at the Capital in MN! I’ve got pics, too (didn’t have a digital camera back then, though.) Good times, good times! I remember printing up a bunch of protest posters from FR, the one of Algore in the straight jacket “It’s over, Al, GET HELP!” was one we used and a CLASSIC!
Women with big ol’ donkey teeth tend to be honest. My experience of course!
I like many on this thread was non-active politically in 2000,
then the attempt by Gory to steal the election by not counting military votes changed me into a member of the VRWC.
PS kristinn, I am still waiting for my check for attending GOE March 17th.
I’m curious as to why the NY Times thinks this is newsworthy? Isn’t the year 2000 now 7.5 years in the past?
I made a trip up to DC for that one.
By the way the Vice Presidents home is on the property of the Naval Observatory. It sits atop a hill that is at least a quarter of a mile from where the Freepers were having the protest. Certainly she heard the chants of Get out of Cheneys House, but the demonstration was very peaceful and nowhere near the house really.
The Internet and Talk Radio...
A Patriot’s Dream Come True!
(A total nightmare for Hillary Clinton!)
That picture of Kerry’s daughter. I’ve never seen anyone go out in public like that.
It’s ok, as long as you say, “Bless her little heart!”
That makes everything ok! You can call anyone anything if you say that phrase after it.
:-)
That’s HOT.........if you’re in your 60’s.
Im glad it sticks in her mind :)

Proud to have been a part of it.
The chlorine is burning my eyes!
I didn’t make that one, but was with a bunch of you when we all went to the White House the evening of Jan 19, 2001 and gave the Clinton’s a bad time.

Ahh, the memories....
No Webster Hubbell genes in that face.
Cheney 2008
**
Be still my heart!
But, alas, Cheney will not run.
I think we can do better here than make fun of their looks.

Yeah, but it’s fun. (BTW, RVN, my mother is also wagging her finger at me from heaven.)
Those FReeps outside Cheney’s house were the best FReeps ever!
I’m pleased that Ms. Gore still has nightmares about them — I occasionally have a nightmare about how close her dad came to being President! Turnabout is fair play, IMHO.
