Just curious.. I know a lot of Conservative Anglican churches in the US are aligning themselves with the African Anglican Union, do you know if there is any move to align with the Canadian Anglican church as they seem to also be acting in a more orthodox way?

Perhaps the radical Bishop of New Westminster will do the honorable thing and affiliate with The Episcopal Church/ECUSA.
I would guess he will just be more likely to ignore this and do what he wants to do.

The decision complicates the position and future of the church because earlier in the day delegates approved a historic motion that said same-sex blessings did not violate the "core doctrines" of the church. I am curious to know what the delegates consider their core doctrines?

Not Anglican here, but good news to my ears...it shows some sanity in Canada and in the Anglican Church.

...earlier in the day delegates approved a historic motion that said same-sex blessings did not violate the "core doctrines" of the church. Typical for the Anglicans, isn't it? Charge up to the border and then fail to cross it. They'll wait for some Episcopalians to take the next step, the Anglicans will refuse to condemn it and BOOM, another fag-friendly fait accompli.

How is the propriety of a church endorsing the blessing of same-sex unions even debatable?

Then the gays & lesbians should join a frickin’ church that shares their philosophy! Geesh, how complicted is that?!

If the church is like my wife’s Presbyterian church there are a lot of older members and not a lot of young or new members. I don’t see the older members wanting that kind of change. The newer ones... perhaps.

Soooooo, they pass a resolution saying there’s nothing wrong with gay unions then vote to continue the ban on gay unions. They are not only apostates but hypocrital apostates.

Just a question, where in the Bible did God or Christ ever put the doctrines of the gospel up for a vote?
