Bigger Government for Illegal Immigration

Bigger Government for Illegal Immigration

On a replay of Tony Snow interview on Shawn Hannity, Mr. Snow kept repeating that in order to solve the ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION problem, “We need to know who is here, before we can start working on the problem.” WHY?

If your house is invaded by ants, to you spend time trying to identify the species or do you get ant-killer? If someone invades your home late at night do you ask them there name and why they are their, or do you get your 45 caliber out?

Think about it, what would be faster and more efficient to 1. Determine if the person is here legally – make them prove it if they are in a profile group – then deport those who are illegal, or 2. Create a database of all the information you can get on the person, hire people to manage it, and then determine if the person should be deported?

Mr. Snow, does it really matter if the ILLEGAL ALIEN is a terrorist, a farm worker, or a gang member if they do not belong in the USA, then they should be immediately deported?

The bureaucracy wants the power to determine who should be deported and who can stay. Why else do they want to know who the illegal is and are only given 24 hours for a background check? Messieurs Bush and Kennedy’s plan will only enlarge government, and move enforcement from the Law agencies to unelected officials.

If the government was really serious about ending the ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION problem wouldn’t the fastest, cheapest, and most efficient way would be to streamline the deportation method? Use criminal profiling including race, assume that the will lie and if they cannot show anything that conclusively proves they are in the country legally, deport them.

When in doubt deport.

The chances of making a mistake are small, and should legal resident get deported they can always show up at the local American conciliate and make there case.

The USA has to get away from more information and a bigger government is better mentality. Stopping ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION is a law enforcement issue, not a bureaucratic one. If anything Congress should give our law officials more tools and protection from law suits to go after ILLEGAL ALIENS to deport them.

If you are tired of government growing whether Democrats or Republicans are in power, vote for Ron Paul. He will starve Leviathan back to the size defined in the U.S. Constitution.

After a brutal encounger with Laura Ingraham 2 weeks ago and a devastating match with Hannity last week, Snow seemed to have gone into hiding.

Both interviews were rough. Hannity accused Snow of being condescending. Later, Snow accused Hannity of being condescending, too.

EWC should have purchases rights and put this show in the squared circle.

Snow’s new wiggle phrase is: “...talking passed each other”

Ever had yourself declared a terrorist by the DMV, and your license suspended? I did. I work in the Pentagon, or did at the time. Small chance, indeed.

Rather than grow the government to accomodate and restrict illegals, we should shrink it, to deny legal protection and other services to illegals.

Illegal aliens have no standing in US courts.
Illegal aliens have no right to be served, in hospitals, restaurants, or stores.
No criminal investigations can be begun at the request of illegals untill all crimes with citizens or legal residents as victims are solved.

It ought to be darned dangerous to be an illegal in the US.

Bureaucracy can’t even handle the increase in passports under a new policy.

So, how the H does the Bush Administration think they are going to process some 12-20 million illegals (plus 20 to 100 million family and friends) for Z-VISAs? The only conceivable way would be to add another layer of bureaucracy specifically for Z-VISAs.

It is big government getting bigger, and Republican President is the worst offender by pushing the pork.

This entire debate is sooooo ridiculous. Snow and his buddy, Bush, seem ignorant of the fact that Mexico DOESN’T maintain BIRTH RECORDS!!!

In my business, we’ve had Mexicans, Salvadoran, and Guatamalans apear over and over with a new name after getting fired for non-maatching SS#.

Sorry I ever voted for such ignorant idiots!!!

That is EXACTLY why we must arrest employers. No jobs, no invasion. The simplicity escapes those we chose to represent us. But then, most things escape them.

You are right. It should be dangerous to be an illegal in the United States - but instead, they are offered gigantic rewards (just for being here illegally) that we citizens pay through the nose for.

No Amnesty. Send the illegals back to their own countries, build the fence. Get rid of the anti-americans that infest our government.

the Constitution . . .

Judging by what's going on today, it appears that the politicians are thinking much more about defending Marx's Communist Manifesto rather than the U.S. Constitution!

I suspect it is you who is the kook. Ron Paul is the solution to our over-sized, un-Constitutional government.

Amen to that. Without jobs, government handouts, housing and licenses to drive, these people would, even reluctantly return home (mostly to Mexico.)

Interestingly, that sounds similar to what Fred Thompson has claimed:

I think most people feel disillusioned after 1986 when we had this deal offered to them before, and now we're insisting that, you know, we solve the security problem first, and then we'll talk about what to do with regard to other things – certainly no amnesty or nothing blanket like that.

But figure out some way to make some differentiation between the kind of people that we have here.

You know, if you have the right kind of policies, and you're not encouraging people to come here and encouraging them to stay once they're here, they'll go back, many of them, of their own volition, instead of having to, you know, load up moving vans and rounding people up. That's not going to happen."

and:

"[B]ecause we allowed ourselves to wait until we woke up one day and found 12 million illegals here, there's no easy solution. And I think that you have to realize that you're either going to drive 12 million people underground permanently, which is not a good solution. You're going to get them all together and get them out of the country, which is not going to happen. Or you're going to have to, in some way, work out a deal where they can have some aspirations of citizenship, but not make it so easy that it's unfair to the people waiting in line and abiding by the law." (Fox News' "Hannity & Colmes," 4/3/06)

Mr. Bush will be announcing the creation of the new Department of Immigrant Identification within a year.

This administration's motto: "If it's a problem, it deserves a department."
