What people seem to miss is that we already have universal health care.

Those who have no resources (including illegals) get health care paid for by you and I through our taxes and higher insurance, hospital and doctor fees.

If for some reason you or I loose our health insurance, after it drains all of our resources and you are in the first group, you get free health care as well.

The system the way it’s set to today is very unfair to the producers, and needs to be fixed. Either we need to have free health care for every one or for no one.

Unfortunately in our society today, were not going to deny poor sick people health care. That’s just the way it is...

I voted "YES"

Of course, I get to import a doctor from Spain when I get sick.

Bingo. We already have it—whether you support it or not is a moot question.

There is no such thing as “free health care”. Doctors, nurses, janitors, bed-pan washers, hospitals, pill factories, etc. all need to be paid for their services or products.

True. People favor it - as long as it doesn't restrict doctor choice or interfere with timely care. So the answer is ultimately misleading. It never meant what Hillary thought in 1994 and it doesn't mean what Arnold thinks either in 2007.

FReep This Poll! - Do You Support The Concept Of Universal Health Care?

Not until I see a rational and convincing explanation of how families were able to cope -- and care for their families just fine, thank you verymuch -- before the "Great Society", the "War on Poverty" and the concept of "Universal Healthcare".

One thing I need no explanation about whatsoever, is how, if you want the cost of anything to go through the roof, all that needs be done is put government in charge of it...

What a horrible web site!

I have dialup Internet access.

It took, no kidding, 2 minutes and 40 seconds for the poll graphic to load. I voted, got the results and the page was STILL loading. I closed the page and my browser said, “Whew! Thank you!”

done

Notice how the Left has attached the word “universal” to health care issues.

Universal health care leads to nothing but universal medical mediocrity
