However, as the Afganies under the Taliban, and the Iraqis in the Al Qeda areas have found out, the Fanatics are very bit as oppressive and brutal as the political thugs they replace.
In the long run the Whabbist are doomed to failure. They simply cannot build a viable social system for Govt out of their religious dogmas.
The question of concern for the West is, “How many of us are going to have to die before the sane Muslims finally put down this rabid dog of a movement”?
I fear the number will be many.
