(Interesting comment...and true, imo.)
I haven’t seen todays article .. ‘l have to go check it out .. thanks for the heads up
And Dowd’s column in the NYT today is titled “A Vice President Without Borders, Bordering on Lunacy.”
Chris Wallace blew a good opportunity. Feinstein, remarking on the great accomplishments of the Democratic Congress, mentioned ethics. Wallace should have asked her about her ethical dilemma, funnelling contracts to her rich husband and his buddies. But, why put politicians on the spot?
I think most of the interviews are taped on Saturday
Another MSM manufactured issue is the possible Bloomberg candidacy. It is ridiculous that anyone can take him seriously. He would be lucky to get 1% of the vote. Why waste your time on it? Fox is going downhill fast with today’s show.
MTP is doing a Hillary for President ad. Ifill says people don’t care if she’s a slick politician, they want to know how they’re going to pay for health care and get their children (she says “kids” but I just hate that) in school. They play a bit of the Soprano’s video. Lots of praise for herself. She’s likable and competent says Roger Simon.
Tim asks if Obama is still in the race? LOL. You may get rid of him, Tim, but it’s a little early for that.
Then Tim ties Rudy to Ravenel, says Rudy didn’t show up for the Surrender Group (good move, actually). Ifill says Rudy should have been focused on his country’s security rather than politics.
Good grief, after the Hillary campaign ad, they are trying to destroy every other candidate in the field. Broder...Rudy is mean and shady.
John Harwood, who ostensibly works for a newspaper, has no idea where Fred Thompson stands on anything.
Broder says Thompson starts projects but doesn’t finish them.
How much is Hillary paying these people.
Other than Obama, there has been no mention so far of the other dem candidates. They might as well not exist.
Hillary is going to take the Dem nomination easily. The MSM has to maintain the fiction that there are some other serious challlengers to justify continuing media coverage, which exceeds that given to the real competitive race for the GOP nominee.
The Clinton administration spearheaded the new, emboldened, partisan media types. The constant focus groups, yarn-telling, half truths and such made the media much more adept at it is all. Also, the boomer generation with its hippy dippy anti-war/anti-establishment credos rose to their nadir in the past 15-20 years and are now the senior editors, top reporters, and writers for all the DBM.
And they have chosen Mike Bloomberg????
LOL
You know what gets me .. it's as though they think we have totally forgotten the Clinton years and their gang of goons
Those goons back then are back again
Unless you are Hillary Clinton, this is the most useless panel discussion ever on MTP...and that’s saying lots.
Great post. Thanks!
Lunacy? Methinks she doth project too much.
Bwhhahahahahahahahaha
The MSM has always been partisan and bias. I see no discernable difference today. I think it turned nasty during the Nixon administration and ever since, they have been trying to replicate Watergate.
LOL. Yep, more inside baseball. I bet you would have a hard time finding more than 15% of Americans who even know who Michael Bloomberg is.
