Yes, and one of the reasons for their poverty is a TOTALLY CORRUPT GOVERNMENT and according to a friend who has strong ties to Mexico, the Catholic Church has systematically held down the people. NOT MY STATEMENT, it is from a friend who can cite example, e.g., tithing++, etc.

Turd World countries are always corrupt. Blaming the Catholic Church is a stretch beyond belief. The Church is the only lifeline that has kept many of those communities together.
The fact that it has very little farmable ground is a big part of their poverty.

Having relatives who work in business, I believe they are
reinforced from the top what to write or say on t.v.
It goes far beyond a reporter’s bias. The reporter is doing the Bush bashing because the owners and executives permit it. The bottom line is they are running a business which must show a profit. When people turn off their garbage, they will change their bias toward Bush and Republicans.
