Fred Thompson is set to announce that Nashville will be the home of his national campaign headquarters, WSMV is reporting.
A source close to the campaign planning tells WSMV that that Thompson planned to announce his candidacy on the steps of the historic Fall School Building Tuesday, but Thompson campaign officials deny that Tuesday's announcement is an official run for the White House.
Of course, if you did that, it would be a ten-reply thread. Max.
Just who is bashing who around here please? Save your breath, dirtboy. No one has exclusive rights to a thread, and you and your henchmen cannot wait to hop on a Hunter thread to belittle his chances.
No one is in attack mode but the natives on this thread.
You are turning Fred threads into your own little self-centered flame wars. It's called thread hijacking. If you want to bash Fred, start your own damn thread.
Save your breath, dirtboy. No one has exclusive rights to a thread,
However, FR does have rules about thread hijacking, flame-baiting and name-calling. Which you do on every Fred thread you post on.
and you and your henchmen cannot wait to hop on a Hunter thread to belittle his chances.
I don't have to belittle his chances. The asterisk next to his name in polls does that. He had one chance and blew it. If you cannot see that, such is your perogative - but Fred is a viable choice for a large number of Hunter supporter.
No one is in attack mode but the natives on this thread.
Ah, so I'm supposed to ignore all the lowbrow posts you have made to try and make this thread into a flamefest.
1. I never call names, but I am certainly called names here
2. When I ask for information I am shot down as a saboteur.
3. When I provide documented information on his record I am labelled a flamer.
4. A sense of humor does not exist on a Fred thread, but a terminal case of thin skin does.
5. A stimulating adult discussion of ideas can only be found on other threads
6. It’s getting boring around here so....
7. It’s time for another sabbatical.
8. Ta-ta, kiddies.
Nah, you say someone needs a suppository, but you never call names. And you are hardly doing anything informational here. You do little more than regurgitate timeworn and disproven anti-Fred talking points.
Did you bother to read the diatribe I was responding to?
I was not calling names, I was diagnosing. :)
Dang, I was hoping it would be July 3, that’s MY birthday!
Heh, a poet in our midst. ;o)
We were up late last night watching Die Hard with a Vengeance, and found out that Die Hard 2 was coming up right after. We stayed up to watch it, and when the first scene Fred was in came on, I told our son that he was looking at the next President of the United States, and he said "That's Fred Thompson"? He didn't recognize him with hair. ;o)
It’s not even Facebook or MySpace, it was things like YouTube (as in, Fred’s Michael Moore rebuttal) and Fred’s more-or-less daily blogging as well. Aside from being a really smart way of doing things (reaching out lightning-fast to a massive community), it shows how our politics and elections are really starting to utilize the internet in a way bigger than Howard Scream’s meet up sites or whatever the hell they were. It’s part of the reason why Fred has reached out to a large audience and is pulling close or ahead in the polls despite not being in the race yet.
I have begun to wonder about the potty training experiences of some of the detractors that post on the Fred threads....
That beautiful building is in a funky part of town, near to the baseball park and just down the street from my studio. I’m so excited I could fall down!
Go Fred!
Senator Thompson,
Lets’ do this thing.
4G1
you come across as less than a class act with this type of commentary. just so you know, people notice.
Happy Birthday, FReeper!
The man of the hour is late.
***waves from shore***
“Buh bye!”
LOL !
It must really leave a mark that a guy who hasn't even entered the race yet left your recent convert to conservatism in the dust.
