Germany warns of terror threat, urges vigilance

BERLIN (Reuters) - German authorities called on Friday for increased vigilance against possible terror attacks and said the kind of threat detected before the September 11, 2001 suicide hijackings in the United States had resurfaced.

Interior Minister Wolfgang Schaeuble said the threat was "serious" and suicide attacks were possible on German soil.

The present situation recalled the summer of 2001 "when obscure threats surfaced which, as we know, became reality", said Deputy Interior Minister August Hanning.

"We are seeing evidence that some action is planned in (the Afghanistan and Pakistan region) but also further afield, in Europe and in the United States," Hanning said in Berlin.

"We are following up all leads and therefore I don't think there is any reason to panic, not at all. But I do think that increased vigilance is needed."

Interior Ministry spokesman Christian Sachs said earlier there was evidence to suggest terrorist training groups in Afghanistan had become stronger and were ready for action.

People from Europe, including Germany, were part of these groups.

German state broadcaster ZDF had reported on Friday that the government had evidence 10 to 12 people from Germany were in militant training camps in Afghanistan and Pakistan.

Three of them, including two people considered dangerous, were arrested in Pakistan as they attempted to travel back to Germany, ZDF said

Warsaw, Aug 31, 1939 -

Polish officials announce possibility of increased Terrorism from neighboring Germany.

Germany needs to keep their tail between their legs - the only three things they've brought to Europe in the last century were World Wars I & II and the Holocaust.

Sounds like the German government is getting ready to pass their own Patriot Act.

Good thing its the Germans who're subject to this sort of propaganda. We on this side of the Pond have it on good authority that there is no threat. I wonder how this is going to play out? Good thing we don't have to waste any brain-waves on the subject knowing that there is no threat.

Listen Carl.

BinLaden boys were in Bosnia after Germany was the first to push for the destruction of Yugoslavia. Historically, Germany and her little Nazi buddy Austria wanted the destruction of Serbia since 1914. I know Germans never forget their history right Carl? Remember Gavrilo in Sarajevo?

Bin Laden was given a passport from Mr. Izetbegovic of Bosnia during German arms and training support. Why? For vacation Carl?

Guess what happened next? Islamofascist Mujihadins were coming in from Syria, Saudi, Egypt, Iran, you name it and nobody had a problem with that. They even established Islamic divisions that were armed by NATO and trained by their old friend Germany.

Islam is all connected Carl. It all the same game but different packaging. Germany is helping the Islamofascits smash Serbs, their old enemy, just like she did 60 years ago. Only today they are doing it under “democracy” and “peace keeping”. Since Germany took over the EU Kosovo has been in their cross hairs just the same.

You see, the southern regions of Sandzak were made a part of Greater Albania in 1941 when fascist Italy and Nazi Germany occupied Sandzak. I’m sure you know the rest of that history right Carl?

Tell me why? Why did they do that Carl? What was the Nazi deal with Albania?

Ah then it’s about 1914. And all germans are nazis and kosovo was part of a german plot for world dominance.

I see the picture.

You are a good reason why there should be no more Germany.

Given the fact that Germany murdered tens of millions in the last two world wars, Germany should have been dissolved as a people to make sure their racist ideologies don’t rise up a third time in human history to cause more death.

Great history Germany, a proud nation of bloody hands.

So you wanna make a contest of bodycounts and attrocities of the past ? What’s the use of that ?

Sure this is easy:

Vietnam - heard of it ?

4 million civilians died there - large parts of the soil are so contaminated that cancer and babies with mutations as we speak are frequently observed.

Remember the picture of that burned girl ?

Slave trade, Indians - no issues with that part of your own history ?

Yes - it’s spooky in the cellar of german history and we can’t clean that up. But we are AWARE. And so we are not diluting our history with stories of war heroes. Our heros are people like Stauffenberg and Anne Frank.

Yeah your right, I mean, what is a few 10s of millions dead anyway? That was a long time ago. Let’s not use that criteria, let’s use something where you don’t have to be reminded of what happened. Besides, everybody has to do some killing once in a while. Just look at other countries. It’s not our fault. We were victims.

I support Bavarian secession.
