From start to end, SiCKO, the latest documentary from notorious writer and filmmaker Michael Moore, is a stunning example of the Big Lie. Almost shockingly devoid of fact and context, it's instead based on highly selective, emotionally-driven, and deeply flawed anecdotes, strung together by writer-director-producer Moore's trademark folksy, soft-spoken, whimsical personal narrative. SiCKO (the unusual capitalization is Moore's conceit) is not a documentary at all, but a naked propaganda exercise on behalf of full-bore socialism. A better title for it would be Pinko. . .
It may not be surprising that a polarizing political icon like Moore, with a hefty fan base, has produced another piece of pure Leftist cant, but the brazenness, magnitude, and absolute chutzpah inherent in this latest sleazy project are surely greater orders of magnitude over the top than any of his earlier work. It's as if he believes that he's finally connected with an issuesocialized medicine (or universal health care)that is poised to change historyto wrestle private enterprise-driven health care to the ground, once and for all, and to snuff the last breaths of freedom, autonomy, and choice out of it.

All I can say is that my Canadian relatives always come to the U.S. for major medical procedures... and many minor ones, too.
MM is a SiCKO...
I’d like to produce a film called “FATSO”, about Michael Moore’s eating habits.
We've got a Winner!
Check this out. It will make you even sicker. The Cuba MM chose NOT to show in the movie: http://www.therealcuba.com/Page10.htm
“Such an overarching theme would be absurdly funny if it weren’t so deadly dangerousif Moore were not, in effect, playing with fire. But our society is now teeming with people who are ready to take Moore’s kind of nonsense completely to heart, conditioned and taught as they have been since birth that they have a right to everything they think they deserve, just by being here. “
this is a sad fact that makes me worry about the future.
What’s the difference between Michael Moore’s movies and Nazi propaganda films? ....the Nazi films had better direction and cinematography.
That pretty well sums it up then!
Sicko-(or-How I Sucked Up To A Dictator, And Didn’t Get Arrested For It!)
Lumpy Riefenstahl has all the propaganda skill with none of the cinematic genius of Leni.
For no reason whatsoever, I check the Saskatchewan Surgical Care Network on occasion to see what their current backlog is.
If the folks in Saskatchewan quit getting sick today, it would take their system four months to perform the surgeries currently on the waiting list. They performed a total of 38,351 surgeries in the six months between October, 2006 and March, 2007. On March 31, 2007, there were 26,240 patients waiting for surgery.
Of the 38,351 that were performed, only 3% (1,150) had to wait more than 18 months.
However, when her brother was born a couple of years later, they instead opted for the hospital paid for by the government so they could purchase a TV rather than pay for the private hospital.
To me, that is the ultimate example of why socialized medicine will never work.
Michael Moore cqan afford to travel to where-ever to get medical treatment he may be denied under a socialist healthcare scheme.
“hospital paid for by the government so they could purchase a TV rather than pay for the private hospital”
In other words, the taxpayers bought their TV.
Just as in the US, the taxpayers are buying Cadilacs, gold teeth, and cell phones,
even though the leftwing handwringers would protest up and down that welfare only pays for food and “necessities”.
Fine, you folks pay for my food and mortgage, and I’ll go buy a new sports car. You won’t be paying for my sports car, you’ll be paying for my necessities.
I will not comment on this film because I will never see it. I did see Roger and Me and it was rated R because Moore put in a scene where rabbits were being skinned. Now that was sick. It was sick not because I was repulsed by such a thing, I was raised in a rural setting and cleaning game was no big deal. But it was sick because skinning a rabbit is NOT entertaining or enlightening. Moore does have an audience which says more about his audience that it does Moore. I do not know or associate with anyone who goes to Moore’s films, but if I knew someone who said they went to this creep’s films on purpose, then that would be our final conversation.
And a PiNKO, too.
Sadly .. Most Americans don't know what Socialism really means
They are think these things will be free .. with no strings attached
