I guess they weren’t satisfied with a 14% job approval rating. They figured they could still do worse.

Thank you to the morons who made it all happen in the 2006 election.

Oddly enough, none of them are bragging about how they "sent a message" last election day...

Republicans also refused to allow a vote on a measure that would have required electric utilities to produce at least 15 percent of their power from wind, biomass or other renewable energy sources.

Wind and biomass are now becoming economic in some areas so a Renewable Portfolio Standard can make sense at the state level. Texas is now the nation's leading wind energy state thanks to an RPS signed into law by Governor Bush in 1999, but Texas has big empty spaces and a lot of wind. However, I don't know how one could impose a fair national standard. The potential is not evenly distributed. Some states would be SOL.

Can anyone find "yellow" corn in the produce section anymore?
It's all high fructose "white" corn" used for corn syrup (sugar substitute) and ethanol.
Its even hard to find "yellow" corn tortillas.
And there goes the price of eggs.

These are still available from China, enhanced with Vitamins Melamine and Ethylene Glycol.

‘Just when you thought the price of gas was too high, the Rats want to increase it!! So much for the poor, minorities and the children...’

but but but Don Corleone, my most treasured friend, will not this most egregious tax increase benefit the orphan chillrens and the widdows..some of whom you introduced to that status in the first place? In the long run?

is it not true Don Corleone that to make omlettes it is necessary to break some bones i mean, some eggs? the lib/tards know best my don.

wait wait wait any way you can Tessio, Clemenza and LUCA to meet with these LibTards and solve this business for the USA?

THEN, Don Corleone we can let the pesonovantes of the free market economy solve this thing the way it has always been solved since back even before i became a wise guy.

According to the Mark Levin show every 1 mile per gallon increase in the CAFE standards = 7700 new highway deaths because of the need to lighten vehicle weight.

Here's my idea. Why fool around? Go ahead and set this as the standard for vehicle weight. Bet it gets reallllllly good mileage.

But I guess it’s better to just continue crying in your beer and repeating this canard ad nauseum.

I think the host was Mark Belling. His analysis on what the US Congress is attempting to foist on the US was devastating.

Personally I can’t wait to see them all being driven around in their 35 mpg limousines. Oh wait, that’s not going to happen. I forgot what hypocrites they are.

Only eight Senators voted against this boon-doogle of a bill, as follows: Sens Barrasso (R-WY), Coburn (R-OK), DeMint (R-SC), Enzi (R-WY), Hatch (R-UT), Inhofe (R-OK), Kyl (R-AZ), and Stabenow (D-MI)

Unfortunately President Bush says he will sign it.
