HH: Now Senator Kyl, why the attacks on talk radio from your colleagues, Senators Lott and Graham? It doesn’t, in any event, it cannot possibly help the party, and it can’t help the bill. What are they thinking?

JK: You know, I hate to speak for my colleagues, but I can suggest in the case of Senator Lott, because I’ve talked to him about it, is just said in frustration. If you look at it from his standpoint and mine, there is so much misinformation, and by the way, a plug for you, whatever your feelings on the legislation, you’ve tried very hard to get facts out. I mean, you just asked me a series of about eight questions that are designed to elicit information.

HH: Right.

JK: Well, not all talk radio is quite that constructive. And I’m afraid that there’s some of my friends who, for ratings or whatever purposes, have chosen to ignore some of the facts, and stress some things that were incorrect.

The title of the thread is different than the title of the source article. They should always be the same. When they aren't the same, you are in effect "making" a headline.

With your title, "Kyl calls talk radio liars", That is putting words into senator Kyl's mouth. He said no such thing in the article. You came up with that yourself. While he did say there was misinformation out there, that is allot different than calling someone a liar.

I came up with nothing myself! I just asked a simple question. I did NOT post this thread.

You could study history if you want to discuss labor shortage. Farmers were required to sponsor immigrants in order for them to work in the US. The sponsors were required to show they were rich enough to support the immigrant. The hired help couldn’t drain the resources of the nation.

I think it should be that way now. Make the employers of immigrants supply all the workers needs instead of the government.

Good work, Senator Kyl. You're just turning off the American people and the GOP base with that kind of talk. It'll be a cold day in hell before any true conservative supports the amnesty legislation you want to force the country to accept against its will. I've come to believe that they don't care about either (a) or (b) - the question is just what is (c)?
