I hope so but I don’t think so, because often being a liberal means never having to say you’re sorry. Great post, but a small bone to pick -- using the term liberal to categorize these people. (Totally ignoring the classical definition of the term) These people at Duke are not "Liberals."
Joe Liberman is a Liberal. Hubert Humphery was a Liberal. I know some very fine people who are liberals. They would not have done what the Gang of 88 did at Duke -- (not to mention the NY Times and other mainstream media did.)
The people who did this kind of thing are not Liberals. They are Leftists playing race politics.
Lets call them what they are. Radical Leftists. Don't allow them to hide behind the liberal lable.
