Fox News Channel Becomes the Code Pink Channel
Wednesday, June 20, 2007 | Kristinn

This evening, the Fox News Channel's two highest rated programs, The O'Reilly Factor and Hannity & Colmes, had members of the pro-terrorist Marxist front group Code Pink on to discuss Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Hillary Clinton's shifting stand on the Iraq war.

Neither show challenged the Code Pink spokeswomen on the group's well documented pro-terrorist, pro-socialist dictatorship politics. Instead they were presented as legitimate players in the debate on the war and Clinton's candidacy.

Code Pink co-founder Medea Benjamin was on The O'Reilly Factor opposite a Democratic consultant. Host Bill O'Reilly praised Benjamin for answering his softball questions about Code Pink's lobbying of Clinton on the Iraq war while he cut off the Democrat from the show for not answering his questions to his satisfaction. O'Reilly said it is 'a pleasure' to have Benjamin on his show.

Hannity & Colmes had Gael Murphy, another co-founder of Code Pink, on in a solo interview to cover the same ground with regard to Clinton.

Code Pink garnered attention by heckling Clinton during her speech at the Take Back America progressive conference being held this week in Washington, D.C.

Fox News is not alone in acting as a shill for Code Pink. The Washington Post recently published prominent print and video reports on Code Pink that were little more than free advertising and recruitment vehicles for the group.

While it is not surprising that The Post would promote leftists like Code Pink, Fox News' promotion of this anti-American group is one more example of the demise of Fox News' reputation as being different from the lamestream media.

I don’t believe BOR will easily change his opinions no matter how compelling the intel. Your point about the 600K is valid. Once BOR makes up his mind that he’s right its game, set, match. A hugh flaw in the man IMO.

He always says "...and I'll give you the final word..." then proceeds to interrupt the guest who's trying to make a point.

I like Brit too, but I find myself watching Lou Dobbs more and more because of the amnesty coverage. Who would have thought that CNN is getting to the right of Fox on coverage of the illegal alien issue.

Hopefully, “Pride goeth before a fall” in this man’s case.

Fair and balanced.

All news commentary is entertainment. If there is no train wreck, let’s create one. They were looking for a food fight in the summer silly season.

FoxNews is afraid of a return of the "Fairness Doctrine".

Fairness Doctrine does nto cover TV. If it did, CBS, NBC and ABC would be screaming bloody murder against it, because Conservative viewpoints and reporter would be forced upon them as a quota!

"Our team (H&C/BOR) just fumbled the ball tonite."

That pretty much sums it up.

What I don't get is why a twofer in one night?
I think they just wanted to get them out of the way during the slowest TV time of the year.

Kristinn, if anyone but you had posted this I’d be skeptical.

I’ve nearly stopped watching Fox (but haven’t replaced it with other MSM’s). After the Paris Hilton Boobfest ad nausem, combined with Geraldo Rivera and Frau Gretchen in the morning, I’d had enough. I get more REAL, relevent and documented news here on FR in ten minutes than I do all week from the TV.
