Fox News Channel Becomes the Code Pink Channel
Wednesday, June 20, 2007 | Kristinn

Posted on 06/20/2007 8:39:54 PM PDT by kristinn

This evening, the Fox News Channel's two highest rated programs, The O'Reilly Factor and Hannity & Colmes, had members of the pro-terrorist Marxist front group Code Pink on to discuss Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Hillary Clinton's shifting stand on the Iraq war.

Neither show challenged the Code Pink spokeswomen on the group's well documented pro-terrorist, pro-socialist dictatorship politics. Instead they were presented as legitimate players in the debate on the war and Clinton's candidacy.

Code Pink co-founder Medea Benjamin was on The O'Reilly Factor opposite a Democratic consultant. Host Bill O'Reilly praised Benjamin for answering his softball questions about Code Pink's lobbying of Clinton on the Iraq war while he cut off the Democrat from the show for not answering his questions to his satisfaction. O'Reilly said it is 'a pleasure' to have Benjamin on his show.

Hannity & Colmes had Gael Murphy, another co-founder of Code Pink, on in a solo interview to cover the same ground with regard to Clinton.

Code Pink garnered attention by heckling Clinton during her speech at the Take Back America progressive conference being held this week in Washington, D.C.

Fox News is not alone in acting as a shill for Code Pink. The Washington Post recently published prominent print and video reports on Code Pink that were little more than free advertising and recruitment vehicles for the group.

While it is not surprising that The Post would promote leftists like Code Pink, Fox News' promotion of this anti-American group is one more example of the demise of Fox News' reputation as being different from the lamestream media.

Yeah, they’re just showing the wackos .....so people can see how crazy their ideas are.

I don’t understand all these attacks on Fox. I’m glad for Fox News. They aren’t perfect, but at least I don’t have to tune in to Katie Couric night after night.

I prefer Brit. I’m glad to have that option.

Don’t shoot yourselves in the foot, people.

I doubt the Pinkos would have the guts to consent to be interviewed by Michelle.

They don’t challenge them. That’s the problem.

It's time for a conservative news channel. Forget the "fair and balance" crap. When was the last time Rather or Jennings had conservatives on to provide objectivity?

FNC is a joke, nothing more than a 24-hour long quasi-celebrity channel.

They let the code pink kooks spew their BS and make fools of themselves. That’s OK with me. It did crack me up when o’reilley cut off the spokesRAT who wouldn’t answer any question with anything but a diatribe about Bush, when she was asked about hillary being booed.

I think I’ve watched FOX only once since last year. Turned off cable news in general. When FOX remembers the conservatives that made them, drops this amnesty kick and stops kissing up to Liberals, I might return.

Or maybe i’ll just stay away anyway until a real conservative Fair and balanced channel surfaces.

What kookery did they spew? Their public stance for the rubes is to end the war now and bring the troops home. They don’t go on Fox cheering the terrorists on like they do elsewhere. They don’t call our troops war criminals and killers on Fox, but they do elsewhere. And they don’t get challenged on this. That’s the problem.

I have never seen more than 30 of these pinkos, so I think they must be mainly a PR stunt by the same guy who did Cindy Sheehan. That old gal kep saying “get us out of Iraq”, until I finally shouted, “lady, you are not in Iraq. Get over it.”

Don’t shoot yourselves in the foot, people.

Hannity and O'Reilly are staring at the barrel of the gun and saying, "I wonder what happens when I push this" with regard to Code Pinko.

It's just too painful too watch it when you know what they should be asking if they had a clue about Code Pink's goals and what they have done to achieve them.

Code Pink is a ploy, a misrepresentation and H&C/BOR both perpetuate the myth Code Pink wants out there. Our team (H&C/BOR) just fumbled the ball tonite.

O’reilly has had Melik Shabazz from the new black panther party on his show several times, as well as other complete nutcases. Code Pink is just another nutcase group to be on Fox. I don’t see anything out of the ordinary here...for Fox.

Then again, I stopped watching Oreilly in 04 when he whored for Kerry and dissed the Swifties....yuck city....goobye and good riddance BO!

I got sick of O'Reilly and Hannity a looooong time ago. It's hard to listen to people who constantly interupt their guests. Hannity has a knack of interupting one of "the good guys" when they are about to say something really important --he asks a stupid question.

Both are know it alls.

I watched the College World Series.

FoxNews is afraid of a return of the "Fairness Doctrine". So they're wimping out, playing pattycake with the hate America crowd, thinking they'll be left alone. They've lost their spine. Damn shame.

They're some of the vilest people in the world. They routinely behave disgracefully at veterans hospitals.

I could never talk to those kind of people, because I'm sickened by the sight of them.

Simple. Eloquent. Bears repeating.

I watch the local TV news for local news. When they shift to a national or international story I change the channel. I don’t watch any cable news anymore, and that includes Fox.

O’Reilly has a serious problem with anger management, and I guess being insecure or whatever that causes him call guests names and lose his cool. Tonight he called a junior in high school a “pinhead” lol and basically lost his composure. What a maroon.

The incident with Medea Benjamin was him trying to show that he’s “fair and balanced” after he cut off the Dem consultant. Hannity was playing softball because he was trying to get her to bash Hillary, but she wouldnt bite.
