Hamas creating 'empire of darkness'

The Palestinian Authority president, Mahmoud Abbas, last night described the Hamas militant group now controlling Gaza as "murderous terrorists" intent on creating an "empire of darkness and injustice".
Palestinian president Mahmoud Abbas said the separation of Gaza from the West Bank was a threat to hopes for a Palestinian state
"There is no dialogue to be initiated with those murderers," Mr Abbas said in his first public addressed since Hamas gunmen seized control of the Gaza Strip last week.
His uncharacteristically fiery speech raised concerns that the confrontation between the Islamist militant group Hamas and Mr Abbas's moderate Fatah party can only escalate.
Mr Abbas said the separation of Gaza from the West Bank was a threat to hopes for a Palestinian state, and accused Gaza militias of taking money "from many parties in many directions" for their "malicious desire to establish an empire of darkness and injustice".
"It's a fight between the national project and this small kingdom they want to establish in Gaza, the kingdom of Gaza, between those who are using assassination and killing to achieve their goals, and those who are using the rules of law," he said.
The Palestinian leader, who has received overwhelming international support since he dissolved a Hamas-Fatah unity government last week and formed a new government, demanded concessions from Israel for greater freedom of movement in the West Bank - the larger, inland Palestinian territory - and called for discussion on an international force to maintain order in Gaza.
Earlier, Israel fired missiles and sent tanks on a foray into Gaza, killing four Palestinians in the deadliest military action since Hamas militants took control of the coastal strip. Two more Palestinian militants were killed by Israeli army fire in a shoot out in the West Bank.
Mr Abbas assured the residents of Gaza that his emergency government would address their needs and work to end economic sanctions now closing in on the Hamas-run strip.
Hundreds of ordinary Palestinians, some affiliated to Fatah, have attempted to flee Gaza, many of them urgently in need of medical care.
And just how is he any different?
Hamas does darkness. Fatah does twilight. Both do suicide bombings.
"Show me just what Mohammed brought that was new, and there you will find things only evil and inhuman, such as his command to spread by the sword the faith he preached." - Manuel II Palelologus
So says this terrorist “prince of light” /sarc
And Jimmy Carter supports this darkness?
He’s just saying what he needs to say to open the world’s funding sluice gates. The more strident he becomes, the more money comes, and the more quickly it arrives.
A keen judge of darkness?
What’s the over under on Abbas death??
Pray for W and Our Troops
Welcome to your world Mahmoud. Perhaps we can send you a Statue of Tyranny so you don't have to bend over 5x a day. That stink must be gettin' old.
Actually, your complete cluelessness is what defies imagination.
I am not sure that this is not a good thing, in the long run. Israel will have to go into Gaza because acts of war against Israel will be launched from there. When they go in, they should take it, pacify it and keep it. This may require its complete destruction and rebuilding under Israeli rule.
Ooooh, Abu Mazen, do you mean something like an “EVIL EMPIRE”?? Yes, the reign of Islamo-fascists does alway share some common totalitarian and despotic parallels with Soviet communism, just with an Islamo-fascist sharia face...... but now that you are sounding like Ronald Reagan describing the Soviets, you may find that Jimmy Carter and other liberal pals in the west aren’t as friendly to you. After all, Carter is busy embracing Hamas and saying the USA must support them, too. Anyway, listening to any PLO/Fatah terrorists talking trash about other terrorists is always nauseating for the hypocrisy.
A main part of Fatah is the al-aska martyrs brigade. Who took responsibility for the majority of suicide bombing attacks during the latest intifada which killed thousands of israeli civilians.
We should not be funding or supporting these animals. Let them kill each other till none are left. Its all they know and strive for.
I'm predicting that water will soon be wet.
Sounds like the agenda for Reid, Pelosi, Clinton, Dems and the MSM.
Bush-Rice. What a disgrace.
