If the men’s parents had fertility problems then my guess is that it’s just likely an inherited trait.

Not surprising. The dirty little secret is that babies conceived through IVF are twice as likely to have birth defects as those conceived the old-fashioned way.

A large percentage of couples in fertility treatments are there because the father has a low sperm count. Like father like son.

Their testis size was also smaller on average by 0.9 millimeters. I don't think I want to know how they got such an accurate measurement.
