Castro = slime to the bitter end.

"Castro stated that U.S. efforts to overthrow him and seize power of the country will never materialize." The communist tyrant should look around to see where his former communist dictators are now. Freedom should and could have been restored in 1961-1962.
Communist slavery in Cuba will not continue forever and neither will the Castro's ruling elite.

And in the mean time I will be having another Cuban political family move in with me for awhile. Political refugees that are THANKFUL to the USA. This makes about 9 or 10 families in the last 5 yrs. Glad to have them and they are proud to be Americans when their time comes........you listening Jorge Bush?

Once you take hold of the grim reaper's hand, Fidel, your ability to influence what Cuba becomes will evaporate like drops of water hitting asphalt in the hot August sun.
The communist regime you so effectively used like a lead club on the heads of the Cuban people will, in due time, suffer the same fate as that of the Soviet Union.
Say hello to the ash heap of history, Mr. Castro.

I’ll bet Fidelito has plenty to eat - if he’s not embalmed.

I’ve been practicing Cuban cooking for almost a year, hoping to have a big party! (Sigh.)
At least I can take Cuban beans to potluck dinners at church, instead of That Fruit Salad Again.
