U.S. Border Patrol agents seeking to secure the nation's border in some of the country's most pristine national forests are being targeted by illegal aliens, who are using intentionally set fires to burn agents out of observation posts and patrol routes.

Where’s the fire wall?
Super-citizens.
Why isn’t Iron Eyes Cody crying over this?
...set up a DMZ on the border...
**
And shoot to kill.
I told them to call me back when the fence was complete and the Border Patrol inmates were freed.
**
Great answer!
If it were me, I would take the back pay and go to work at Home Depot.
Every agent I have met has been the salt of the earth and very dedicated.
A shame what they have to put up with now...
Bush and the Senate will want to reward them.
Sad thing is that a lot of nice parks near the border are now unsafe because of the illegal invasion.
“It just floors me that his opinions on open borders haven’t changed since 9/11.”
We are very lucky that we haven’t had another major attack with our border wide open. Very lucky indeed.
Don’t the Democrats always say that illegals are good for this country? What do they think about these illegal thugs burning down natural habitat in order to foil the border guards? The Democrats have just put up blocks to building the border fence, fearing that natural habitate may be destroyed in the process. Sure, they care... They could prove they care if they condemn the actions of these illegal fire throwing thugs, and likewise condemn this immigration bill that would allow more of the sorry illegal lot into this country.

You'd have to put snipers on towers or hillsides to watch over the minefields, otherwise they'd be out there sweeping the mines with machetes and such. Plus you'd have animals wandering into the minefield creating holes where they set off the mines. The illegals, or more properly the "coyotes" would probably drive animals into the fields to do just that.
They'd be upset, and marching, but they wouldn't be "up in arms". They don't like "arms" and besides, that's our "reset button", should we decide we need to press it.
Obviously they've been taking lessons from the Palies. We've been taking them from the Israelis, and using no, or at least less than lethal, force in return. I'd have shot the little bastard.
Pro amnesty folks continue to try to use race as a lever.
Has anyone seen race used as a lever on the anti-illegal side from a civil rights perspective?
One way is the impact on black Americans, and another is the disparate impact on Latinos.
If this were an affirmative action situation, it might be argured that Latinos are being given an unfair advantage over other races.
What about the impact to other immigrants who are not being allowed in because they followed the rules. Have they not a race based arguement in many cases?
Why is immigration laws being disportionately applied to non Latinos?
Uh, could be because he's been dead for over 8 years?.
And of course it wouldn't be politically correct for the actor born Espera DeCorti to do such a thing. (He did marry a real Indian, and lived as an Indian for most of his life, he wasn't a total fake like a certain Leftist Colorado professor). See also the Iron Eyes Urban Legend Page
“And this is the CRIMINAL MENTALITY that Bush, et al, want to have even more of a legal citizens in America. Sick”
They are desperate to beat the Jorge amnesty. I suspect they will start shooting the poor border patrol guys next.
Thanks, Jorge.
