You can watch today's "Fox News Sunday" with Chris Wallace on a podcast at the link.
Krauthammer opines that only the House can stop the Immigration Bill, now.
(Also, there's a really good interview with Petraeus.)

Sorry, you're wrong on that one. Rip O'Reilly, Geraldo, Greta and the rest of the crew as much as you like. But Fox News Sunday and Brit Hume's nightly news show are as good as it gets in broadcast journalism.
They might be wrong on how this will turn out, but odds are they're right. Only keeping the pressure on the Senate Republicans can possibly change the outcome.
Now I am more confident it won’t pass. They are pressuring the media because we have been effective.
Glad you asked. It looked live. Here is the Petraeus transcript:

“Dont be too hard on Alaskan politics”
Oh I am not. Alaska politics and the sometimes weirdness of it was something I reveled in, and enjoyed. Alaskans tend to be involved in thier politics. More so then many other places I think. Having to deal with Mass politics you likely have a differant take on what constitutes “weird”. LOL! Having been born in Lynn and having family there as well as having been raised in NJ I can certainly understand the “depressing” referance. Keep up the fight though.
We needed some new senators anyway.
All Bush has accomplished in the past couple of weeks is to assure Jimmah Carter that he, at long last, will not be considered the worst president in U.S. history when he dies.
I say it will fail to pass.........but what do I know.
...... Just a SWAG !
Political suicide for any polidiot that votes for this. They create anarchy they are out of business as the only thing making them important and valid is the very constitution they continue to use as toilet paper these days........
Where did you hear that, may I ask? Or is he just *cautiously optimistic* like he was last time?
It must be a lot, considering his support for amnesty.
Fox has a lot of open border loonies but he's the wackiest of them all, even topping Fred Barnes.
Ah..., Mitch McConnell—my senator. I gave his office a call and let them know that I expected a lot different stance from him on this bill. He’s one of the pushers of it. I told them that he votes for it, they have a guarantee that I will vote for whomever his opponent is in the next election. Primary and genenal, even if it is one of our democrats—who is likely more conservative than Ol’ Mitch.
Thanks!
The good news is that a ton of states have been pushing up the primary dates. We’re only eight months away from when a lot of those seeking reelection will have to face up to their votes.
>> Tell the viewer that it will pass so the viewer loses the will to fight against it.
I see the logic, and that may in fact be the hidden agenda, but I think the real dynamic is just the opposite.
I think if the press said “dont worry, it’ll fail”... that would be more dangerous.
They may be doing us a favor!
And it will.
There’s too much money buying too many politicians for it to be allowed to fail. Even if they don’t get it rammed through this time, it will not go away. We are actually privileged to be present at the making of history, the death of a superpower.
Next time, it will be sneaked through under cover of darkness and no amount of racist, nativist, rabble will be allowed to get in the way of our masters vision. If those of us who don’t support the presidents ideal of a latinized north america can be publicly demonized as racist and worse, do you think we’re actually going to be allowed to get in the way? Not likely.
I suggest you learn to speak Spanish if you want to eek out a living in the brave new world that will be Amexico.
It was posted earlier from an interview on Face the Nation, IIRC.
It's NOT OVER, 'til IT'S OVER!
That's like quitting the Superbowl before the last quarter because we are behind or World Series in the middle of the ninth inning!
No one should wring their hands because pundits in D.C. or even around the country, tell us "Experts say......."
I believe I know one of my KS Senators will go for Amnesty and the other one leans against, however, I plan to make absolutely sure that the one up for reelection in '08 learns that he will NOT be elected in KS if he takes even a small bite of the apple. The other Senator, running for the Presidency, knows for sure, that no matter how "conservative" he is on other areas (and he believes that his pro-life stance will propel him to the top or at least number 2 spot, however, his amnesty stance will sink him like John McCain.
