This is an email that I got from info@gohunter08.com. I asked them if it was ok to post this here, and they approved:
Dear Rob21, We wanted to say thank you for all your time spent working on posts for Duncan on Free Republic. It's grassroots Americans like yourself that are making a huge difference in this race. We appreciate your efforts and we hope you can continue to write about Duncan. We will keep you in our prayers as you leave for Iraq this July. Thanks again for everything! Sincerely, The Hunter Family
When folks start atacking and baiting with
childish remarks as has been done with others who have since been banned, since they started the comments, they invite in return hearing the truth.
Hunter’s background exceeds that of all other running re National Security, Military, international affairs, the border and illegal issue.
He is the author of the Border Fence bill that was passed and signed.
This link of his Congressional site give background of his many years and leadership as well as having been
Chairman of the Armed Services Comm.
He has been on national programs many times over many years.
Those who say Duncan who are being childish and if they really don’t know, they have no real knowledge of politics.

Yeah, that's called "bedtime" for those of us with jobs.
I needn't "back up" anything.. Hunter is an unknown. Case closed.
Good day to you.
And you spelled "humblegunner" incorrectly, mrketchup.
Again today, a caller told Sean that Duncan was the real conservative (I can’t remember his exact words).
Calling a talk show is like a free ad.
But here is my concern; why does he not have money and support? He is going to need them to go anywhere. I am watching him, because I may decide to vote for him. But as of now, he is clearly a second tier candidate.
Why is that? How is he going about raising money?
The reason that he hasn’t raised a ton of money at this point is because of so called conservatives like humblegummer who consider him “unelectable”. People have been donating more money to the RINO’s because they have MSM coverage and their liberalism makes them appear “electable”.
But I do think that the grassroots can overcome this. If you really want to make sure that Hunter moves into the top tier and gets nominated, make sure that you donate at www.gohunter08.com. Even if you can only afford 10 bucks, every little bit helps.
It is common FR courtesy to ping the person you are talking about.
Shout out to Duncan!!! Don’t give up, keep up the good work.
Thanks, Rob, for responding. I will see that he gets a donation or more. I really like him.
I’ve been at FR a long time, and we never “pinged” anyone we were talking about; they do not have to be present.
Duncan Hunter would make a wonderful President. He was my first choice from the gitgo. Followed by Romney, and, if Fred Thompson jumps in, and if I like what he says, he’ll be in the equation also. But Hunter, if he can climb out of the second tier, is my idea of presidential material. If he can’t make it, I sure hope whoever does makes good use of his talents, as a VP or as Sec. of Defense, which I think he would be exceptional at. Whatever happens, I hope Duncan Hunter plays a big role in our next Republican administration, that’s after we slay the Hillary beast first.
I would prefer Tancredo in the third spot over Romney, who is my fourth choice. Other than that, your picks are fine. I’m also hoping for either a Duncan Hunter/Fred Thompson ticket or a Fred Thompson/Duncan Hunter ticket.
As I said...it is common FR courtesy to ping the person you are talking about. I didn’t say it was LAW. The fact that some chose not to, just shows how uncouth they can be.
Looks like Rob got banned or suspended on a later thread. If I ever get zotted, I would hope it would be for holding the line on pro-life like Rob21. I would consider it a red badge of courage.

We are holding Rudy and Mitt to the fire about their past on abortion. Lets not forget Fred Thompson.
Abortions should be legal in all circumstances as long as the procedure is completed within the first trimester of the pregnancy. Link
A very strong statement from Fred Thompson when he was running for congress.
Oops, I meant to ping you as well, Sam.

If I were in your dad’s shoes, I’d meet with Condi Rice and ask her to agree to be the VP candidate. She has said she’s not interested in the pres slot, and if she got the vp slot she could do what she wants for 8 years.
