President Bush's pledge to support $4.4 billion in additional border security funds ... Fool me once, shame on you....
Support is worthless. I'd doubt at this point I'd even believe a pledge to spend $4.4 billion.

I voted for Bush twice. I supported the response to 9/11. As for immigration, like countless others who believed in this man, I am baffled, even more so every time I see him and Ted Kennedy hugging. NO AMNESTY Period! This Congress is a sham and a disgrace.

Notice the central CNN point. They try to reduce this to an issue involving "conservative bloggers" only. No mention is made that 2/3rds of all Americans oppose this bill. And that cannot be dismissed as the product of, or the audience of, 2/3rds of all Americans.
The lie goes on.

Really, CNN? If Harry Reid couldn’t get enough RAT votes for cloture (or whatever you call the process) doesn’t that indicate that a heckuvalot of RATS don’t want this legislation, too?
Just askin’...

Whatever happens with the Immigration Bill, I’m convinced we need to DRAIN THE SWAMP!! [In fact, this is my new tagline] The truth is that even a lot who are nominally against would vote for it if we weren’t mad as hell. Throw all the bastards out and start over—Its the only way to be sure.

I think I need to create a new one of this, with Bush and Pelosi side by side, (and the Mexican colors replacing the red area)............What do you all think?
To: LouAvul
CNN missed the fact that 55% of Democrats don’t support the AMNESTY Bill either. You would think it would be higher, as their jobs are just as likely to be stolen by the new lower wage AMNESTY recipients.

Conservative bloggers are upset?...Go figure....The so called “republican” president wants to hand the bill for the education, social security and medical costs of hundreds of thousands of third world poor over to the middle class of America...upset?...no...It’s more like outrage!
To: LouAvul
You know; we could do this...I guarantee all the D’s would vote to Impeach and Remove....The Senate Trial would be shorter than Clinton’s...perhaps it’s time that a few key Senators walk over from Capitol Hill to the White House and tell the President that it’s time....Deja Vu 1974 ?

Of all the issues the president has picked to make his hill to die on, he has picked the one that has divided his base... Erickson! If you're reading FR then listen up!
The 'BASE' is NOT DIVIDED!
The President has ABANDONED HIS BASE!
He is now known as President RENEGADE!

How do we impeach? Don't get distracted. Keep the pressure on Congress.
Bush isn't nearly as important as he'd like to think he is on this issue.
Call your Congressmen and Senators every day next week! Tell them you don't want this "Shamnesty" in any shape or form.
